Sullivan screams from the tree.
“Let me down. I’m going to fucking kill every one of you.”
“That’s going to be hard to do without the use of your hands,” I say, as I pull my phone out of my pocket and call Victoria.
“I need you here to take a look at Bianca. She’s injured.”
“From the IUD?” She asks.
Rolling my eyes like she can see me, I say, “No. She was attacked. Bones will send you the location.”
I hang up, and spot him staring at me with a questioning expression.
“Send your location to Victoria.”
He and Psycho exchange glances, as if they have some sort of a telepathic connection, but Bones retrieves his phone from his pocket and does as I ask.
Reaper stands near Sullivan, and I can nearlyseethe itch he has to kill him. Rumor is he ends lives because of some kind of an uncontrollable urge. It isn’t necessarily because someone hasearned their death. I suppose we’re different in that way. Does it matter the reason, though? A killer is a killer.
I grab my scalpel from my pocket, and immediately have Reaper’s attention. He tilts his head and stares at the blade in my hand. I can nearly see him salivating.
“Wanna hold his head still?”
From behind me, I hear Bianca gasp.
“What the hell? He looks like you.”
I turn to her with a laugh.
“I’ll explain later. It’s a long story.”
Glancing at Bones, I say, “As is the fucking Bonetti brothers’ attempt to kill us, by crashing into us.”
As I move closer to Sullivan, and get ready to cut him, Psycho appears beside me, with the same expression his brother had only minutes ago.
“You should probably know we didn’t crash into you. This asshole did. We were following you, and watched the entire thing. If we wanted you fucking dead, you would be. We don’t make fucking mistakes.”
“Reaper, hold his hair back. I need access to his hairline.”
He moves his hair, holding one hand on his head, and the other under his jaw, as Sullivan cries out pathetically.
“What are you going to do to me?”
Tilting my head at him, I grin, “I’m going to skin you alive.”
He tries like hell to move his arms and legs, as he trembles with fear. I don’t always tell them what I’m going to do before I start, but I want him to feel the terror she felt for the last two fucking years. Getting her locked up in an asylum, for a murder she obviously did not commit, is just an extra level of disgusting.
She really isn’t a lunatic. Bianca survived it all, and it makes me even more attracted to her. Many people would’ve crumbled from what she has been through, but not her. She’s stronger than she realizes.
“Bianca, turn around if you don’t want to see this.”
Her voice comes out, showing me every ounce of strength she has.
“I want to see it. I want to hear every scream. I want to see the tears of agony fall from his evil eyes. I want to watch him fucking die. My only regret is that I didn’t kill him when they said I did.”
The guy Raven called ‘Reaper’ looks so much like him that it’s unsettling. Unless he has a twin I didn’t know about, it doesn’t make any sense. I watch as the guys start laughing when Sullivan pisses his pants. For a brief moment, I wonder if this makes me as bad as him. I’m not covering my eyes, or flinching, as Raven makes his first cut at the top of his forehead. Instead, I’m enjoying it. Sullivan looks right at me, with tears and snot running down his face, and screams for me to help him.
“Bianca, please. Help me!”
