“That was … that was …”

Mason laughed. “Yeah?”

A sigh escaped Adam’s lips. “I’ve never had an orgasm like that in my life.”

“Congratulations, then. And good job to me.”Do not think about how this is Drew’s little brother, Mason reminded himself. He’s so hot, all flushed and spent like this. It was totally, totally worth whatever reaction Drew is going to have.

“You have no clue.” Adam’s eyes opened and he looked up at Mason. “What about you?”

Mason shrugged. “What about me?”

“Don’t you want to come, too?” Adam scrambled to sit up, looked around, and reached for his sweatpants.

Mason stood and grabbed the sweats to hand to Adam. His dick was still hard and aching in his own pajama pants. “I mean, yeah, but it’s not mandatory.”

Adam thought about this for a moment and nodded. “But I want to. I want to get you off.”

A pang hit Mason’s stomach, but it wasn’t guilt. He was hungry. “I’m starved. We worked right through lunch. Let’s eat and we can talk about it later.”

Adam crossed his arms and for a moment, he looked like the pouty little brother Mason had always known.Cute, but … a little weird.Mason dipped down to kiss Adam again, and lust curled in his groin. “Later,” Mason promised.

Chapter Five

Adam

What had theydone? Adam could not believe what had just happened. As they ate the meal Mason had cobbled together in near-silence, Adam’s mind raced and whirred. The clinking of spoons in bowls filled the room, along with the crackling of the fire.

Did I really just get the best blow job of my life from Mason? Mason who I grew up with? Drew’s best friend Mason? Who I’ve had a crush on for years? It was almost too much to comprehend.

Adam finished his soup and put his spoon down. He stared at the bowl, afraid to make eye contact. He’s probably already regretting everything.

Mason cleared his throat. “So, uh …”

Adam forced himself to meet Mason’s gaze. “Yeah?”

When he spoke, Mason’s voice was quiet. “Listen, if you are having second thoughts or something, that’s cool. I get it. It’s probably weird.” Mason picked up the dishes and took them to the sink.

“No!”Get it together, you sound overeager.“I … I mean, no. You didn’t overstep. It’s not weird. I mean, it’s alittleweird, but nothing I can’t handle. I liked it.”

Mason turned and nodded. “Good. Me too.”

The snowstorm outside had all but died out, and when Adam glanced out the window, it was well past dark. He yawned. His ankle hurt and the whole rollercoaster of a day had worn him out. “I think I’m going to head to bed. Are you staying up?” He mentally pictured himself crawling into bed and realized that his plan had one tiny problem.Crap. I’m on the top bunk.He flexed his ankle gently, but it protested with pain on both sides.

Mason shrugged. “Not like there’s much else to do.”

“Can you help me get my things to the bottom bunk? I don’t think I’m going to be climbing the ladder anytime soon.” Adam ran his fingers through his hair and sighed.

There was a pause, but Mason nodded. “Yeah, I can do that.”

He reached a hand out to Adam, but Adam shook his head. “I think I can make it on my own.”

“Don’t put too much pressure on it too soon. You don’t want to make things worse.”

Adam grinned. “You sound like Mom.” He hobbled towards the bedroom as quickly as he could. It hurt, but he wanted to be walking on his own. He’d spent the day resting his ankle and didn’t want to rely on Mason for transportation any longer than necessary.

Once they made it to the bedroom, Mason grabbed Adam’s pillow and tossed it on the bottom bunk. Adam reached for it and stumbled. He grabbed for the top bunk, but Mason’s muscular arms wrapped around him before he fell. “Crap,” Adam muttered.I’m definitely not complaining about Mason’s arms around me though.Adam inhaled slowly. He smells really good.“Thanks for saving me. Again.”
