He gives me a broad, toothy smile and crawls toward me from the corner of the nest where he was sitting, politely waiting. I don't know how polite he has actually been, but he was waiting.

“You're next,” I purr.

“Fuck yeah I am. How do you want me?”

I don't know how I want Alex to fuck me, I just know that I need him to do it. I don't have time to mull it over, either. Nathan comes back into the room with an armload of fabric. It smells wonderful. A lush blend of all of us. I start snatching things before he even has time to put them on the floor. I don't mean to be so awful about it, but I need to hurry. I can feel my body winding back up, and I don't think I'm going to be myself for a while after this wave. I want my nest to be right before it takes me.

“Help,” I bark, “make it bigger. Everyone has to fit. Hurry.”

They scramble to help me push and smooth blankets and sheets and shirts until it's as good as I can get it with their help, and I spend the few minutes I have left of sanity getting every little bit just right before I'm hit with a wall of heat and need that brings me back onto my hands and knees in agony. Alex grabs onto my hips and drags me back against him. His thighs feel so good against the back of mine, warm and strong. He leans over, planting his hands beside mine, hovering over me with his front flush with my back and his hair hanging over me like a curtain.

He growls into my ear, making chills run up my spine, “is this what you need, sweet pea?”

The last thing I register before I lose myself completely to this wave of heat is Alex grunting when I wrap a fistful of his hair around my hand and use it to roll us over. If Alex wants to be on top he's going to have to earn it.

When I come back to myself, I'm sitting on Alex's lap like a throne with my legs spread over his and his knot pulsing inside me as he laughs like a lunatic. I'm out of breath and sweaty, but I feel so wonderful; and I'm making the omega sound. Is it a purr? I don't know.

Kaleb is yelling and cursing. Corso is a wall of protective anxiety holding Jasper behind him. Jasper is a little pale, but he's still got a little smile tugging at the corner of his mouth. Reid is on his knees at the edge of the nest with his hands resting atop his thighs, which tells me exactly how stressed he is. What exactly the fuck happened that would pull this level of reaction from these men?

“Don't do that shit again, Alex. You can't be that rough with her. You could hurt her,” Kaleb snarls.

“The fuck I could,” Alex laughs, “you saw her throw me all over this nest. Now she's going to blame me for fucking it up.”

“Be quiet, both of you,” I say, and take a breath. “Reid?”

He looks at me with his eyes only, not moving his body or head.

I need to go to him, but I can't while I'm still knotted with Alex. “Jasper, go to Reid.”

Corso relaxes his stance and allows Jasper to move around him, and Kaleb looks mostly confused. He opens his mouth to say something, but I hold up my hand to hush him.

Jasper gets onto his knees in front of Reid and puts his hands on either side of his face. “Hey, alpha,” Jasper purrs, “she's alright. You know Alex would never really hurt her. You know she'd never really hurt him. They're okay. It's just her heat. It makes us crazy sometimes.”

Reid gives Jasper his eyes and lets out a breath before pressing his forehead against Jasper's.

“It's never been that rough with them before, has it?” Jasper asks, and Reid shakes his head. “Close your eyes,” Jasper continues, and waits until Reid does what he says, “can you feel her?” He smiles when Reid nods, “she feels good, doesn't she? Happy?”

“Happy, and worried,” Reid says softly.

“She's worried about you. Can you feel Alex? How does he feel?”

“Ecstatic. Proud. Content.”

“See?” Jasper continues his purr for Reid, “they're okay. Are you okay, alpha?”

Reid opens his eyes and gives Jasper a solemn nod before he looks at me.

“Come here, Reid,” I give him a soft smile. “I need to touch you.”

Jasper moves to the side so Reid can crawl across the blankets to kneel in front of me and Alex. Alex was perfect, based on the warm calm I feel, but he may as well be an actual piece of furniture at this point because this moment is all for Reid. I reach up and hold his earlobes firmly between my fingers, not pinching, just a firm hold, and look into his beautiful, dark eyes. I hold his gaze for a full minute before I make the decision to get him out of here. “Will you do something for me, Reid?”

“Anything you ask.”

I smile and pull him close enough for the kiss I give him, “will you help Trent and Nathan make sure Devon behaves? And will you keep them from destroying my kitchen? And make sure Jasper doesn't eat too much shitty food?”

He gives me a smile, “I can do that.”

“And,” I kiss him again, “will you come back to me later, with Nathan?”
