“You're bad,” I tell her, but I'm smiling. I didn't know if I was going to be able to wire up this place like I did the farm house, and not being able to pull up an app on my phone to check on everyone whenever I want has made me even more twitchy.

“I had all your techy shit boxed up and brought over. I want visual and audio in every room in this house. There are too many places that we can't watch. I need inside and outside surveillance or security or whatever you want to call it. I need it, Nathan. Can you do it?”

“Of course I can do it. I can do a lot of it at night, especially if you keep Reid busy,” I give her a ridiculous eyebrow wiggle, “nobody will mind the main areas being wired, but the bedrooms... I can do it. I'll just have to be sneaky about it.”

“Thank you, Nathan.” She walks over to give me a kiss.

I'm getting more and more spoiled by affection from her.

She's been increasingly more affectionate with all of us, but it's obvious that she's more comfortable being like that with Corso, Reid, and Alex. None of the rest of us are taking offense, Talia has an entire history with them. It's just a little surprising to see her climb into Alex's lap or jump up into Corso's arms so he can carry her off to his bedroom.

Trent is reveling in the attention. I think he's keeping a secret tally of how many kisses or touches he gets from her and Jasper. I know he's keeping up with every blowjob or fuck he isn't the recipient of. He says it's all in the name of fairness, but he isn't keeping track of what the rest of us are owed. Part of me thinks it would serve him right to be the one Talia and Jasper tie down. I might even suggest it.

“Would Reid be very angry? Jasper might be pissy about it, but he'd understand.”

She thinks for a minute before she answers. “Put the feed from Reid's room on something separate, where nobody but you can ever see. My room, too. The things that happen in his room, and sometimes mine, are very private; not even Corso or Alex really know what happens when the doors are closed. Actually...” She trails off as she walks to the door, and calls for Reid.

When he appears in the doorway, she pulls him into the room and shuts the door behind her. “You're not going to like this, Reid. Not even a little. But I need it to happen or I'll never feel like Jasper or any of the rest of you are safe.”

He sighs, and sits on the bed next to me. “What is it? What do you need to feel safe, omega?”

Why does he get to call her by her designation and the rest of us don't?

“I need security cameras in every room in the manor. I need every inch inside and as much as possible of the outside covered. Every room, even the bathrooms, even that huge closet in my room, even the walk-in pantry. Every bedroom. Even yours.”

“The bathrooms…” I don’t think a camera in the bathrooms would go over very well, and the idea of someone watching that feed doesn’t sit well with me.

“Yes, the bathrooms. An intruder wouldn’t expect a camera in a bathroom and might take advantage of it. We can put them on their own feed, and only check them if something really goes really wrong.”

“And my bedroom? Yours, I understand. But mine?” Reid turns to look at me with an odd look on his face.

I don't know why a camera in his room would be this big of a deal, so I just look back at him. I'm certain I look every bit as confused as I am.

He looks back at Talia. “Anything you need to feel safe, omega.”

“The feed from your room will go to a separate location, too. Nobody but you, me, and Nathan will ever see it. I told you I would take care of you and I meant it. Nathan will never mention anything he sees, and he won't see anything unless there's a need to check the feed from your room. Right, Nathan?”

“Of course,” I answer. What the fuck happens in Reid's room that makes this conversation necessary? “It isn't anything dangerous, is it? Because, secret camera mission or not, I won't let anything happen to you. You're my omega as much as you're his or theirs.”

“It's nothing like that. It's just something very private between Reid and I. I know privacy like that isn't common in packs, but this is something special for just the two of us. It isn't bad or dangerous, the opposite, actually. But it's just for us.”

I'm nodding, but I'm still very confused. “I'll put the cameras in Jasper's and Talia's rooms above the bathroom door like at the farm house, since they share that bathroom. I'll have to look at the other rooms, though. Will you show me around the property? I'd like to make some lists and diagrams so I can get on it before their heats line up.”

Talia looks at me like I've just thrown a bucket of ice water on her. “Fuck. That's right. They will line up eventually. I'll need to have my mother send a couple teams over to watch the property. Jasper will go in, what? Six weeks? That can't be right?”

“That's right. And we don't know what you're going to do. That doctor said you might go every four or six weeks. Don't take this the wrong way, or anything, but I think it's going to take more than three of us plus Jasper to handle you. You were...aggressive. That's not a bad thing, but I've been thinking about it. Maybe we take you in tiers. Like Devon, Kaleb, and probably Alex for the first couple days, then me and Trent for the next bit, then Reid and Corso the last few days. Or Corso could stay for the whole thing, he handled it pretty well; but that's after you'd run through me and Trent.”

“Jesus,” Talia rolls her eyes.

“Thought it out, have you?” Reid deadpans.

I shrug, “I like to be prepared. And she needed more than us last time. I want her to have what she needs.”

“I think we're all agreed on that point,” Reid says, “I'm not hiding anything. Talia is right, it is just something between the two of us, and eventually Jasper when he's ready. I can't see a way for him to remain separate. I appreciate your discretion. I'll start taking you around the property today, just let me know when you'd like to go.”

“Whenever you want.”

“Let me get my shoes. Now that I'm thinking about it, I want this done as quickly as possible. We should have already had something like this in place.” Reid stands up to leave.
