“I'll throw out the stems, but I want to keep the petals,” I explain, feeling weirdly awkward.

Reid smiles from where he's leaning against the door frame, “good. I'm glad Alex left them. Will Jasper have the adjoining bedroom? That's where he should be. It will be easier to check on both of you.”

“Jasper is going to need both closets,” I sigh, “I'm going to call him now. He wants a virtual tour.”

Corso stands up and goes for the door, they all start for the door.

“Where are you going?” I ask them.

It feels wrong for them to leave me. I like them in my room and I want them near me. Being back at the manor feels like a homecoming, but I still don't want to be alone without them. Not yet, anyway.

“Giving you privacy for your call,” Corso answers.

“I don't want any privacy right now. Stay with me for a while. All of you.”

That gains me more smiles and I get out my phone to make the call.

Jasper answers on the first ring, with Nathan and Devon crowding behind him. “Are you ready for your tour, princess?” I ask, and then we're off.

I show him everything. Every room, every appliance, everything I think might lessen his anxiety about the move. I even show him my flower petals. He tells me he loves me after I explain about them. Nathan also seems very pleased with the flower petals.

Devon wants to see the garage. He wants to know that he'll still have a place to do whatever it is he does when he hides in the garage, I guess. Trent makes an appearance and my ridiculous face must turn bright pink because he comments on it. This makes Alex the ass extremely happy, and he catches Trent up to speed on our conversation from earlier just to see if he can turn my cheeks from pink to red. Turns out, he can.

Jasper gives Alex an appraising look through the screen, and knowing we're all collectively imagining Trent balls-deep in Alex makes me release a wave of my heated cinnamon-spiced coffee scent.

“This is so fucking stupid,” I grumble, trying not to be embarrassed. Omegas are supposed to flaunt their omega-ness. They're supposed to enjoy knowing their alphas want them, and I do. I'm just not used to it. Being a beta was so much easier. Now I've got three alphas zeroed in on my scent and all I want to do is pull Jasper through the phone and suck him off while they take turns making me scream.

“Better take care of that,” Trent teases, winking at me.

“You better take care ofthat,” Alex counters, gesturing at Jasper's hooded and dilated eyes, “if it's that easy to get them going this hard we're not going to have time for much of anything else.”

He's joking, but he isn't wrong.

“Speaking of time,” Devon says, “we probably need to address their heat cycles. Talia has only had one heat. She could go as soon as three or four weeks from now. Jasper goes every twelve. For about a week before his heat he's a lot to handle. We don't know what Talia is going to be like. And if their heats ever line up....”

“Jesus fuck, Devon. I am right here. I'm sure I'll be fine and you big, bad alphas can handle anything I throw at you,” I hiss, “and they're definitely going to line up at some point, especially if I'm like every other female in my family. This is going to be ridiculous.”

Reid laughs, “it's going to be wonderful. All of it is going to be wonderful. Don't fret, sweetheart.”

I roll my eyes and decide I've had enough alpha energy for the moment. “I'm taking the rest of the call in my room. Can you guys give Jasper a minute, please?”

Jasper doesn't wait for their reply to leave Devon and Nathan sitting in the kitchen, and I take the stairs back up to my room and shut the door behind me.

“That's a big house,” he says quietly. He sounds nervous, or anxious, or something else not good.

“It isn't once you're in it. What's wrong, princess?”

He looks around his own room back at the house before he answers, “I'm worried that it won't feel right. You look so comfortable there, I don't want to change anything that you like. I'm worried that it will feel like I'm a guest at your home instead of it being mine, too. That sounds horrible and selfish, and now I know how you must have felt here. I'm sorry.”

I try not to, I really do, but a small laugh escapes anyway and he frowns. “You're in luck, Jasper. First off, anywhere I am is your home. We can change whatever we need to so that you're comfortable. Secondly, we will treat this house exactly like we treat that one. I like the way we do things there and we'll do the same things here. Thirdly, princess, I'm not going to be very good at the omega stuff. I'm far more comfortable taking care of you than dealing with myself. The only thing that will change is the physical location.”

He looks a little less anxious, but he won't be completely relaxed until he can see for himself that this will beourhome. I don't think he's going to want to change much about it, anyway; but if he does, we'll change it. I'm not going to be that type of territorial. If he's happy and our alphas are good, then I'm going to be just peachy.

“You're going to be great at the most important omega stuff,” Jasper says with a little smile.

“Which stuff is the important omega stuff? So far, the only major omega stuff has been catastrophic. The heat was a disaster, the emotional bullshit is bullshit, and the ride over here was absurd.”

“What happened on the ride there?” He looks worried now, and suspicious.
