I stroke myself harder, thinking about taking her soft body while she’s cussing me out. Her pretty little pussy would welcome me right in, her tits would bounce in that hot little outfit, and I’d kiss all over that plump mouth while she tried to bite me. When I was ready, I’d come inside her, leaving all of me for her to feel. To remind this fiery woman who bested her.

I shouldn’t want this, and that thought makes me want it more. My balls tighten, and I jolt to my feet. I come all over her legs and skirt, groaning as I do. I try to get as much on her as I can without wasting any of it.

I groan and think about if Sawyer came in here and made me lick it off her. Despite the fact I just came, my dick twitches again and swells.

The woman moans a little and moves.

Jesus fucking Christ.

I rip myself away from the bed and stuff myself back into my pants. I storm to the bathroom and crank on the shower as hot as it will go.

When I stand under the burning water, shame washes over me.

I lean my head against the shower wall. I want to treat her with complete disrespect. I slam my head against the tile, seeing my mom’s purple face pop into my head. I found her beaten to death by her boyfriend right after I turned 17. I never told Sawyer that. I’ve never told anyone that.

Fuck.

I try to spit the sour taste in my mouth onto the shower floor. Ryder needs to come back and take control of this situation because it’s getting out of hand quickly.

Goddamn Sawyer. This goddamn woman.

Saving Cali’s life might be the last nice thing I’m going to do for her.

And that terrifies me.

Chapter 12

Cali

Iwake stiff and sore. Keeping my eyes closed, I groan and roll over. The bed is so soft. So unusually soft. I blink my eyes open.

I’m not in my room.

Adrenaline burns through me, and I sit up, reality rushing back to me. I’ve been kidnapped. Twice.

“Ah, she awakens.”

I jump. The nicer one sits in a chair across from the bed. His hands are steepled. “Sleep well?”

I rub my wrists. He’s let me loose. I smell like sweat and dirt and panic.

The man watches me glance at the door. “Go ahead. But Sawyer told me if he catches you, you’re all his. So, I’d suggest not.”

I cross my arms and clear my throat. Sawyer must be the other man with the longer hair. The man in front of me raises a dark eyebrow but doesn’t say anything. What the hell is going on?

“What do you want?”

“Truthfully?” His voice is smooth and low. He looks me up and down. “I want you gone, and I want Ryder never to have been arrested. But clearly, we all can’t have what we want, can we?”

Who the hell is Ryder? I swallow. Ryder and this guy must be the other two in the car that night at the gas station. I try to look like I know what’s going on.

The man lets out a sigh and eyes me from under hooded lids. “But since we can’t have that, and I can’t have you running off and telling people where we live, you get to stay with me.Closeby me. Think of yourself as my little shadow from now on.”

I study the tattoos on his arms. He has a few that look military-themed, including dog tags and a flag. One looks like the Air Force badge. I ask, “Who are you?”

He watches me watching him. “Miles.”

Clearly, he thinks I’m not onto his game.
