“Stop.” Cameron orders and I stare down at him. He motions for me to get up and I comply. He turns me around, puts my face against the wall before he spreads my ass cheeks and re-enters me. He grabs a fistful of my hair as he pounds into me. “You drive me crazy, angel.” He grunts. “Absolutely fucking crazy.”
We were crazy and wild for each other, fucking like there was no tomorrow. It was primal and unbridled, like if we had something to prove to each other. I felt almost possessed and owned, and I didn’t want to end.
I try to hold onto the wall for dear life. Cameron’s thrusts are more powerful than before and I felt my soul ablaze. My pussy quivered around his cock and I felt an unstoppable climax approaching.
“Cam, I’m about to come…” My voice came out as a squeak.
“Come all over my dick, angel.” He begs me.
I came hard down on him, my legs shaking and a gush flooded from my pussy. Cameron came violently inside of me, emptying himself, and owning my body. His fingers were tight and splayed around my hips as his cock jerked inside of me.
Cameron leans over and kisses the back of my neck. “I don’t know if I’ll ever get enough of you.”
“Mmm…” I turn and meet his lips and tongue with mine. “…I hope you never do.”
Twenty-Two
I woke up the next morning with a bad omen.
Cameron was still asleep when it was time for me get ready and head to Fresh Espresso. I quickly showered and dressed before I made my way downstairs. I was about to head out the door when I encountered Maria, the head of security.
“The news already aired the blast from last night.” She said. She’s a blonde White woman with an athletic build and serious face. She’s naturally gorgeous and keeps the makeup to a minimum. Mascara, blush, and maybe lip gloss. “You’re going to have the police be out more today. They might even stop by the shops. You know absolutely nothing.”
“I knew nothing last night and I still don’t.” I read her eyes. She’s barely blinking and it seems like she’s studying my face. Even Maria know what’s at stake.
“Nothing’s changed.” She warns. “You’ll be followed as usual, but this time, Cameron’s security will make it obvious. It’s for your protection.”
“Okay.” I shrug. I’m freaking out inside but I can’t show it. If I show fear, I’ll never leave the house. Furthermore, it’ll give Jackie more incentive to take down Cameron and my shops.
“You go to work, do the drop-offs, and come straight back. No pit stops.” She orders.
“Got it.” I nod and leave. This is my new reality until Cameron finally gets out. I won’t have to worry about looking over my shoulder or when I’m going to get another surprise visit from Ethan. We can just be free from everything.
Cameron still has his legitimate businesses so I don’t think his schedule will change that much. He’ll no longer be a part of the underbelly and that’s what I want. He’s powerful enough on his own.
I don’t want to worry every time he goes out if I’ll get bad news from Que and Hayley. I don’t want to worry if he’ll get indicted by the Feds because his time has finally come. I don’t want to worry about if I’ll bury Cameron before we had a chance to build our future.
I just want us both to be free from all of that.
I arrive at the main Fresh Espresso shop a short time later. I turn on all of the machines and put on some music to keep me occupied. “Never Too Much” puts an immediate smile on my face as I start to clean up. Despite the bad feeling I had earlier, it feels like it’s about to be a great day.
Well, it did feel like one. The bad omen I had became a reality when I turned around and locked eyes with someone I didn’t want to see.
Laurie.
I roll my eyes and set down the cleaning supplies before I walk over to open up the front door. After I left the Pages home last night, neither set of parents called us. I guess they knew better to leave us alone than to force a reconciliation.
That was last night. This is today and it’s just me and Laurie.
“Come in,” I welcome her to the shop and she comes in. She’s wearing a long skirt with a Jimi Hendrix long-sleeved top. On her feet are Chuck Taylors. Bangles adorn her wrists and many small hoops go up and down her ears.
Her face is fresh, without a hint of makeup. She’s naturally gorgeous and Laurie knows it, though she’s not conceited about it. She knows her beauty (and sex) has opened many doors for her – just like I did now.
Laurie comes in and stands in the middle of the shop. She doesn’t take more steps but it’s out of fear than respect. She wants to make sure it’s truly okay for her to be there and I relax my stance. “Did you want anything to drink or eat, Laurie?”
She glances up at the menu and squints a little. Her face contorts into different shapes as she finally makes her decision. She finally lights up when she sees something she can have. “A Save the Day smoothie, and honey lemon chia seed muffin.” She bounces in her shoes. She reaches into her bag and I stop her.
“It’s on the house, Laurie.” I offer. “Your money is no good here.”
