Staring at me with those dark emerald eyes, Mehen licked his lips and I had the distinct impression of his dragon crouched, ready to pounce. “Remember when you saved me? Even dying, I tried to lunge up to tear your throat out. He grabbed me by the neck and squeezed until I submitted to you. You didn’t think that washot?”
Rik’s voice rumbled deeper, as if his rock troll stirred. “And when you had both Daire and me the first time. I restrained him for you so you could torment him at will. I know you thought that was hot. I sure as fuckdid.”
“Me too,” Dairepurred.
Eyes blazing with heat, Mehen took a step closer and Rik rumbled a warning, like he always did. But because of this discussion, I couldn’t help but hear a sexual heat to thatsound.
“Make your move and I’ll fucking drill your ass into oblivion,” Rikgrowled.
I gulped. And yeah, my fangs throbbed, my pussy ached, and my nipples rubbed against the velvet of my dress. I could all too easily imagine Rik and Mehen wrestling, fighting, fucking. While Iwatched.
And then I got to fuck themboth.
But did they really want to do that? Or were they only willing because they thought I wanted it? I did, but not if anyone would regret itlater.
“My punishment wasn’t being chained up for thousands of years. It was being mydragonthat whole time.” Mehen said. “In case you didn’t notice, no other dragons, male or female, were imprisoned with me. I’ve had all this time to dream of fucking again. Every single one of your Blood are welcome to take a turn at me. I want and need to fuck. I’ll fuck anyone. I’ll let anyone fuck me. Gladly. I’ll even beg for it if you’re dominant enough to make me. But your alpha would be best at least this first time, because after so long, I’m going to be…feisty.”
Daire snickered. “That’s one way to say horny ashell.”

“Leash my beast,”Mehen growled, vibrating with tension. “Now. So I don’t lose control before we evenstart.”
I pictured his dragon in our bond, the snarling, hissing, fire-breathing monster that hated everything about me. Except my blood. He liked me bleeding, but that was about it. I looped my magic around his neck, binding him to mywill.
The dragon’s slitted emerald eyes, so like Mehen’s, glared with malevolence, but he didn’t fight me again. He knew who his queen was, even if he didn’t likeit.
Guillaume held the guest house door open for me, and the rest waited until I was inside before following. I’d been so out of it when we arrived, and then consumed with forming the nest, that I hadn’t really looked around that much. The guest house only had three rooms: a great room with a mini kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. The guys each had a bag of spare clothing against the wall, and Gina had arranged for some of my new clothes to be installed in the bedroom closet. Though when Rik and Daire had taken me shopping, I’d ended up with at least ten times as many clothes, from a single store. The master bedroom closet had better be gigantic if they kept up that level ofshopping.
The sectional couch took up a lot of space, but hopefully the guys not with me would at least becomfortable.
“More than comfortable,” Guillaume assured me, lifting my hand to his mouth. “If you need us, we’ll be close, and even out here, one of us will stayawake.”
I wasn’t sure if he was afraid Mehen would be that dangerous, or if Ra would try to attack again. I hooked my arms around his neck and pressed against him. “I thought the nest was supposed to beimpenetrable.”
“It is, to an extent. But the moment you have people crossing the circle, even with your permission, it becomes a weakness. Carpenters and crews will have to cross the circle to work on the house. Deliveries will be made. New servants will be hired for the house. Any of them can become a weak point in your defense that allow astrike.”
Daire pressed against my back, his rumbling purr vibrating through my body. “Good night, my queen. Sleepwell.”
I kissed Guillaume and then turned to Daire, kissing him too. My throat tightened but I didn’t say anything. Rik had enough on his plate handling Mehen without either Daire or I nagging him about when he could return to my bed. I missed my cuddlebuddy.
“I can cuddle,” Mehengrowled.
It made me laugh, though I don’t think that’s what he intended. Daire bumped noses with me, fully secure in his claim as best cuddler, even though he was currentlybanned.
“Trade off with Xin and Nevarre in six hours,” Rik said, his voice rumbling deep bass. “If Mehen is capable of walking, he’ll joinyou.”
Daire laughed and plopped down on the couch. “Good luck, myfriend.”
“I am not yourfriend.”
Sobered, I headed for the bedroom. Mehen was Blood—but he didn’t fit in with the rest of my men. And he might never fit in completely. Tension simmered in my bonds, despite Daire’s and Guillaume’s efforts at keeping the mood light. I hadn’t had Blood for long, but with just four of them, we’d had an easy camaraderie that I’d enjoyed. There hadn’t been any jealousy or fights. It’d been easy to trade off between guard and bed duty. I didn’t know Nevarre’s personality yet, but he seemed much more personable than this growling, hissingBlood.
The bedroom was large enough for a king-sized bed and room to walk around easily enough, but with two large men glaring at each other, it felt like a tiny closet. I unzipped my dress, the sound loud in the room, and both males’ gazes whipped toward me. I let the velvet slide down my body and puddle on the floor. I wore nothingunderneath.
Mehen’s eyes narrowed into slits and he couldn’t take his eyes off me. Rik used that distraction to his advantage and stripped his clothes in record time while the other man just stared atme.
