“Absolutely. Both of you should finish,” Zareth says. “Enjoy your party, kids.”
Chapter Five
My hands smooth downmy tight black dress. I look up at myself in the mirror, and Liam is behind me with his hands on my waist. My hair is falling in smooth curls. My makeup is applied perfectly, and there is a sparkle in my eyes that I’ve never seen before.
“You look gorgeous, Tori,” Liam says.
“Mmm,” I sigh and tilt my head to give him more access to pepper my neck with kisses over where he marked me. “Thank you. You look quite yummy too.”
“You are just too tempting to resist,” he grunts as he pulls my dress up and pushes me over the counter. He grabs my hips, and I yell out when he slams into me.
“Fuck, that’s good!” I moan. “Oh, God, Liam. Harder. Oh, please. Harder.”
“My mate,” he growls, slamming into me over and over again before stopping. “Let’s get going,” he says, patting my ass with a wink.
We step out of my dorm room, and I walk with more confidence and less fear. We get down to the sidewalk and get into Liam’s car. His truck is missing now, so his father had a new car sent to him. This one is soul-bound, so only he and I will be able to start it.
We drive hand in hand back to where everything started yesterday. Right away, we see Liam’s truck is trashed in the middle of the yard. The windows are busted, the tires are slashed, and it’s gutted. Liam chuckles and comes around to open my door. “Ready?” he asks me.
“To see the look on their stupid faces when we walk in? Absolutely,” I say.
We walk onto the porch, and the door opens. Someone slips out, and we catch the door before it closes. Stepping inside, the rush of smells brings rage over me. A growl rumbles in my chest, but Liam wraps his arm around my waist and squeezes me.
“Tori!” Makayla says as she rushes over to me. “Girl. Are you okay?”
“Uh. Yeah?” I laugh.
“Dude. It was wild. The police said you two were missing,” she says. “Kaitlyn!”
“What… oh, hey,” Kaitlyn says. “Thanks for getting me home last night, Tori.”
“Not a problem,” I say. “I figured I would be nicer than any of you people ever were.”
“What is that supposed to mean?” Makayla asks with a frown.
“Do you know how many times I have been raped in your home?” I ask, my voice instantly silencing everyone. “You know what… It doesn’t matter. Where are Tyler, Jason, and Jacob?”
“Upstairs with Nicole, I think,” Makayla says.
I turn and stomp up the stairs with Liam behind me. I start kicking open doors until I come upon the master bedroom again. When I bust through the door, Tyler, Jason, and Jacob are surrounding the bed where Nicole is unconscious and naked.
I go into a blind rage suddenly, but Liam grabs me before I can get to them. “You son of a bitch!” I scream at him. All three men spin around, and Liam pushes me to Nicole as he swiftly and easily knocks the others back on their asses. Maybe it’s the demonic look in his eyes when he growls down at them, but they damn near shit themselves as they huddle in a corner.
“Nicole,” I say softly, pushing the hair out of her face.
“Hmm,” she groans.
“Oh my God!” Makayla says as she runs in. I pull a blanket over her, and Liam points to the door.
“Let’s go for a drive, boys,” he says calmly. They each get up in an almost robotic way and walk out of the room. Liam winks at me, and I take his hand as we follow the rapists out of the room. They walked down the stairs, through the living room, and out onto the porch. They don’t stop until they get to the car, where they put themselves in the backseat.
“That’s creepy,” I laugh. “Will anyone remember?”
“No. Mom and Dad will be here in a second to work on compelling the memories from all of them. They will just kind of stand around until then,” Liam tells me as he sets me in the car.
“What did you do?” I ask.
“Because I have my mate, I am taking over my dad’s role as leader of our realm. There are several,” he says. “When a demon leader or mate is attacked, we can reserve power to do almost whatever we want.”
