Josh glances over at Ryan, who lifts his brows. “What do you think? Good enough?”
When Ryan’s expression doesn’t even change, desperation hits me, nearly making me shake. “Please…”
Ryan finally smirks. “I want her to fall apart.”
“Done,” Max replies before pressing his mouth flush against my core, his tongue rolling over my clit.
I toss my head back in ecstasy, quickly becoming touched and covered once more by Josh’s and Ryan’s lips and hands. I revel in every single touch, the muscles in my stomach tensing more and more as my release approaches at lightning speed. I’msoclose.
“Oh…yes!” I cry out, approaching the edge. Closer and closer.
I jerk awake in bed with a shaky breath, all semblances of ecstasy disappearing in an instant as I return to reality. Heat lingers on my skin, almost to the point of me breaking a sweat, and it doesn’t help that embarrassment rams me like a freight train.
“Oh my God,” I breathe out before burying my face in my hands.
I cannot believe I just had a sex dream about them! It’s bad enough that I have to struggle through being around them in person. Now, my sleep isn’t even safe.
There is too much riding on this project for me to be distracted. I have to be at the top of my game, but I just can’t seem to stop thinking about how handsome they are, how nice and deep their voices sound close to me..
Why did it have to be the dirtiest dream my twisted mind could come up with?
Before I can even get out of bed to shower and gather myself, a knock sounds on the front door, making my eyes widen in disbelief. It’s not even seven o’clock! Who in the world is knocking on the door?
I haul myself out of bed and pull on my white robe, wrapping it around my still flushed body as I head through the small apartment to the door. I glance through the peephole, expecting maintenance or someone from the office, but it’s worse. Way worse.
I unlock the door and pull it open to face my two older brothers, Andrew and Ethan. “You couldn’t call first?”
Andrew gives me a pointed look as he waves his phone at me. “We did. We called you like four times, kid.”
I wrinkle my nose at him before stepping back so that they can come in. Ethan is so tall and lean that he almost reaches the topof the doorway, while Andrew has actually learned a thing or two from all his time in medical school to keep himself in decent shape. He’s still a fiend for donuts, though.
“I’m surprised you’re not at the hospital,” I tell Andrew as they follow me into the kitchen where they make themselves at home and start the coffee maker.
“I don’t go in for another hour,” Andrew replies as he grabs my milk out of the fridge. He then turns to me with a stern but kind look on his face. “I thought we agreed that cutting out dairy would be a good thing for you to do. There are plenty of alternatives.”
I let out a groan and steal the carton from him. “I’ve been a little busy since getting back. Specialized grocery shopping will have to wait until later this week.”
“I have to go to the store tonight. What do you need? I’ll grab it,” Ethan offers as he leans against the counter next to the coffee maker.
They’ve always been like this. Kind but a little overbearing. A diet version of our parents.
“I can buy my own milk, Ethan,” I assure him before hugging him. “Thank you, though.”
Ethan gives me a squeeze before letting me go. “We just want you to be comfortable now that you’re back home. You didn’thave to deal with finding a place. You could’ve stayed with either of us or with Mom and Dad.”
Andrew chuckles. “That would’ve been a nightmare for her. Plus, my hours are all over the place, and you pretty much live at the law office.”
“She would’ve had plenty of privacy and more money in her pocket,” Ethan replies before shrugging. “But you’re a big girl. You can make your own decisions.”
“Wow, I’m twenty-seven, and you’ve finally accepted that?” I question him, unable to hide the amusement glinting in my eyes.
“Smart ass. How are you doing at work? The guys treating you well?”
Oh, right. All of my embarrassment and shock comes flooding back to me, along with what I remember from my dream. I’m so glad that they can’t read minds. They would be horrified if they could see what’s in mine right now.
“Oh, uh, yeah,” I reply as I put my back to them to pour us all a cup of coffee. I have to somehow go seethemand act like I just didn’t have a raunchy dream intense enough to leave me sweating.
“Good. I’m glad they saw your talent,” Andrew tells me as he steps up to my side. “They’re lucky to have you.”
