Carlos lifted her into his arms. “Let’s go home, bunny. Jamie will be safe, I promise you.”

He grabbed Savannah’s hand and walked towards the exit.

“Greg, we can plan at the house.” Savannah waved for Jamie’s father to follow them.

“We need to call the police.” Greg insisted.

“No.” Savannah barked. “I’m not waiting on the police. My mates will find them faster.”

His panther preened under her praise. “She’s right. We’ll coordinate from the prowl house.”

Greg nodded and followed them out.

Just outside of the school doors, Carlos passed Ella to Simon and the enforcer took her swiftly to their truck. Carlos pulled his mate aside and studied her face.

“How we doing, Savi?” He asked quietly.

“I want my baby back, Carlos.”

The tears in her voice shredded through him. He kissed her forehead and pulled her into a hug. One he needed more than she did.

He whistled and his enforcers fell in line behind them. They sped to the prowl building, him on the phone the whole time while Derrick drove. He planned to have their son back before the day ended.
