I nodded and allowed him to tug me toward the front door.

Chapter 15 - Ollie

There was no getting comfortable. I’d sprawled on my couch in an attempt to stay still—every movement seeming to make my heat worse—but even just lying there was almost too much. Slick coated my asscheeks, and my cock strained in my boxers.

I’d tried fanning myself with my t-shirt, but each puff of air made me imagine my alphas breathing against me as they took me.

My imagination supplied me with endless fantasies of how their cocks would plow into me, how good it would feel to have their cum inside while their knots pressed against my sweet spot. The flavor of their kisses, and how they would caress and praise the baby bump after they’d bred me.

The longer they took, the more intense the fantasies became and the stronger the heat symptoms.

Even a cold shower had been ineffective in slowing the progression of my heat. It had felt good for a few minutes, then my freshly-washed skin was even more sensitive than it had been before.

I’d been a fool for thinking I could get through a heat without my mates. Maybe that drive hadn’t been there before, but fate had a way.

That was assuming my mates came. Axel had promised me that he wouldn’t leave me alone, and that he’d bring Tripp. But what if he hadn’t been able to convince the other alpha that they were supposed to share me?

Fate wouldn’t do that to me, would it? Tripp would understand… right?

Time seemed to crawl as I waited for my mates. The sun had still been out when Axel left, but had gone down some time since.

He’d warned that they’d be several hours. I knew the holidays were the busiest for delivery drivers. But as it got later, I worried that my alphas had abandoned me… That they’d rejected me.

I sniffled even as I scolded myself that it was just the hormones talking. Axel had kissed me like he’d wanted me for months. I had to trust that he wouldn’t have changed his mind in a matter of hours.

The fridge hummed. The heater kicked on, then turned off again after several minutes. Car doors along the street as neighbors went about their business.

My alphas weren’t there. I was in heat, and my mates weren’t there.

I whined, turned onto my side, and curled into myself. I should have acted sooner. If I had talked to them, they’d be there… breeding me.

The rational part of me tried to insist that they were still coming.

But where were they?

I pushed my glasses up to wipe away a tear.

What else could I do but wait? And hope…

The doorbell roused me from my misery, and I fell off the couch in an uncoordinated attempt to get to my feet. I scrambled up and rushed to the door.

It only took a glance through the peephole to see that my alphas had come for me. I flung open the door with a cry of relief.

“Oh, Ollie,” Tripp said, rushing in. He wrapped his arms around me. “We’re here.”

I clung to him and buried my face in his chest.

The sound of the door being closed and locked, a plastic bag, then Axel was behind me. He kissed the back of my head. “We came as soon as we could.”

“Mm-hmm,” Tripp agreed. “I didn’t even go home to shower.”

“Smell good,” I murmured.

He laughed. “Good to know.”

I glanced up to see him smiling at me.

“May I kiss you, omega ours?”
