“You’re welcome. I’ll have a car pick you up, and another to take you from the airport to his place. There’s a visitor desk in his condo building, but I know the staff and I’ll get an entry pass for you without having to call up to him.”
I wiped away a tear. “Why are you helping me after I hid the truth from him for so long?”
“Because you two are right for each other. Now hurry and start packing so I can call and get a flight crew to the plane.”

I disconnected the call and rushed to my bedroom.

I took a deep breath as the doors opened.
The front desk had told me that Jordan’s was the penthouse on the right. I headed that way, then stood outside his door, gathering my nerves.

Jordan’s arms circled my waist. “You’re here,” he whispered, burying his nose in my neck. “What are you doing here?”
“I missed you,” I replied. “I couldn’t wait any longer, not with you back in the country.”
His arms tightened, and I squealed as he lifted me and pulled me into his condo.
“You’re here,” he said again, setting me on my feet. “You’re here.”
