“Sh-she kicked. Hard.”

“What?”

He grabbed my hand and pressed it to his bump. “Wait…”

I held my breath, then I felt it.

“She kicked…” I breathed.

I looked up to see Theo crying.

“Are you ok, omega-mine?” I asked, kissing him gently.

He nodded. “She kicked. You felt it.”

“The first of many.”

Somehow that only made him cry harder, and I pulled him into my arms to hold him close while he got it out of his system.

“What are the chances they’ll stay asleep?” I asked, looking into the crib where our daughter, Meagan, slept next to Wes and Cody’s baby, Joseph.

Wes chuckled. “When was the last time you changed and fed her?”

I sighed. “In other words, we might have a couple hours, or a few minutes.”

He nodded and led me out of the nursery and into the nearest living room, where Theo, Cody and Corey were sitting around chatting about the babies.

“Are you sure you’re ok watching her?” I asked as we paused to admire our men.

“Positive. Cody’s been talking about it for days.”

“As if he doesn’t see her enough.”

“Still, this will be their first sleepover.”

“And it’s for a good reason,” he said, then nodded towards Theo. “You’re finally going to mark him.”

“Yeah.”

“His heat starts tonight?”

I nodded. “I’ve been smelling it on him all day, and he told me he’s feeling it too.”

“It’s not a time for him to be worried about her. Between Cody and our nanny she’ll be fine.”

I smiled. “Yeah.”

Theo looked over and smiled.

Wes patted my shoulder. “Go claim your mate, properly this time.”

I took a couple steps forward and held out my hand.

Theo exchanged glances with Cody and Corey, then stood and made his way over while the other men teased him.
