“We will,” Cody replied. “Thanks again!”

“Of course. It’s what friends are for.”

He smiled, then the chauffeur closed the door.

I waved as they disappeared down Cliffside Drive, then turned and walked back into their new house.

The catering team was busy cleaning up their mess, while the planner had a crew taking out tables and chairs.

I looked around and found Jordan busy taking gifts off the designated table on the patio and carrying them inside to the office. Seeing that he had it in hand I decided to do what I was best at.

I wandered out to the patio and outdoor pool, where I started checking for anything dangerous near the water. Then I used the net to guide the floating flowers and candles to the edge, where I fished them out. Once I was satisfied, I secured the ladder and engaged the automatic pool cover.

It was a moment of normalcy in an otherwise chaotic day, but even that wasn’t enough to make me forget what it had been like in Jordan’s embrace as we danced.

I watched the cover as it locked into place, then turned and saw that one of the workers had already picked up all the flower and candle arrangements, leaving me alone on the patio.

I sighed and made my way inside, where the various crews were finishing up and taking the last of their things out.

A maid crew would arrive in the morning to deep clean, then interior decorators would make any last-minute adjustments before Cody and Wes returned from the honeymoon and officially started living in the beachside house.

At least I had enough work in the area that I’d be able to see Cody easily whenever I was around. I’d get to play with the baby once he was born, and dream of having a great love of my own one day.

“Should I call a car for you?” Jordan asked as he came back from escorting the final crews out.

I shook my head. “Thank you, but I decided to stay the night.”

He was silent for several seconds, then nodded. “Ok. Well… I think everything is almost all done down here. I’m going to make sure that all the doors and windows are closed, then I will head to bed.”

I nodded. “Ok. I think I’ll shower and head to bed then.”

 “Sounds good. Good night.”

 “Good night.”

I trudged up the stairs to the level with all the bedrooms and looked at the doors.

“Cody said that Jordan was in the first room, right?” I muttered.

I thought back. We’d been in the right hand rooms getting ready earlier. Then I remembered Cody telling his grandmama that it was ok for her to get dressed in the second guest room.

I doubted he’d send her to an occupied room, which meant that Jordan was in the first.

I shuffled past the first door and opened the second. The room was immaculate, with a bed that would take up most of the master suite in my apartment.

I walked past the bed to the en suite, and sighed at the large bathtub. Any other day I would have taken the opportunity to soak, but I was exhausted and worried I’d fall asleep in the water if I tried.

Unfortunately, I started regretting my shower as soon as I massaged shampoo into my hair. It reminded me of Jordan’s scent, and my cock hardened with need.

Dancing with him had been a wonderful, glorious, mistake. It had been perfect, and I wanted more. However, more was off the table, and now I had to forget about how good it had been.

I washed quickly once I realized that Cody must have stocked the same products in both bathrooms, and that staying in the shower would make me want Jordan even more. I sighed at the fluffy luxury of the towels, then sighed when I realized that—unlike Cody’s previous apartment—I didn’t have any comfy pajamas left there.

“Oh well…” I muttered. “Guess I’m going commando.”

I pulled back the covers and slipped between the silky sheets, still smelling Jordan all over me.

Despite my best efforts to sleep, I quickly realized that, although exhausted, I wasn’t going to be able to pass out until I dealt with my insistent cock.
