Zaya shivered in my arms.

“Are you ok?” I asked.

“Do you even know how sexy your voice is?” he asked. “Especially when you growl possessively like that.”

I chuckled. “Everything about you is sexy, Zaya.”

The soft little whine of desire he let out went right to my already hard dick.

“The primitive alpha part of me wants to drag you to bed,” I said against his hair. “But the gentleman in me insists that I at least need to take you to dinner first.”

He laughed, then looked up at me, and for a moment I was lost in the depths of his hazel eyes. “How about you kiss me,” he suggested.

I didn’t need to be asked twice. I dipped my head, moaning slightly when his lips met mine, they were as perfect as the rest of him, soft yet firm, and there was a sweetness to him as they parted to allow my tongue inside his mouth.

Zaya shifted in my arms, allowing me to deepen the kiss as he wrapped his arms around my neck and pulled me into him.

I was so lost in the feel of Zaya’s lips against mine, that it took several seconds for me to become aware of a beeping sound behind me.

Zaya’s eyes were glazed as I pulled back to try and figure out what was making the sound. Then he blinked several times before ducking out of my embrace to dart to his camera.

“Everything ok?” I asked, turning to face him.

He laughed. “Dead battery. I guess I got a bit distracted.”

“Hopefully in a good way,” I teased.

Zaya grinned at me. “In the best way.”

My cock was still uncomfortably hard, and by the tent in his shorts, so was Zaya’s. But the moment had passed, and we both knew it was only a matter of time before I claimed him.

“About dinner…” I said. “Is there a place in particular you want me to take you?”

Zaya strolled back over and playfully walked his fingers up my bare chest. “I only got into town yesterday, and haven’t really had a good chance to explore, or figure out which are the best places to eat. So how about you surprise me.”

I took his hand and kissed his fingers. “Anything in particular you want or don’t like? Any allergies I need to know about?”

He shook his head. “I’m open. I’ll try anything once, it comes with my job, and I’m not allergic to anything.”

“There’s a lovely seafood place up on the cliff,” I suggested. “In the summer it’s impossible to get a table, but I bet I can pull a few strings for tonight.”

He grinned. “Black tie?”

I laughed. “They prefer a casual atmosphere, even if their reservation list would suggest otherwise.”

His radiant smile widened. “Perfect.”

“And if I can’t get us in there, then we’ll head to a lovely little bar and grill in town.”

He laughed. “Sounds like a plan.”

I dipped to brush my lips against his again, and loved the soft sound he made in response. “Seven?”

“Yeah.”

“Where should I pick you up?”

He turned and pointed at a house only two down from my own.
