“Good girl. Work off those nasty drugs. I need to find where she’s been making this shit so I can destroy it,” I mutter.
“Lucas,” she moans.
“I’m going to get a complex, Little Nightmare,” Grant chuckles, kissing her as he drags his knot along her nerve endings.
Adjusting myself with a wince, I clear my throat.
“I think she needs to tell me something, grumpy,” I tell him.
Isolde whines as Grant continues to tease her with his knot, while I roll my eyes.
“Her lab is down that way,” she gasps, having trouble with her words. “Did you find her daughter, Avery?”
“I think Oli and Alesso may have,” I admit. “She pulled a gun on them. They let me know that she was keeping them from the stage.”
“How…did they do that?” she asks.
“We’re all bonded to our alpha,” Grant growls. “Now, I want to hear you scream my name, Little Nightmare.”
“Do you want your gun back?” I ask her, amused as she takes it without a word. “Alright then.”
Walking in the direction Isolde waved me in, I raise my brow as Jed jogs over to me.
“Things are dying down. Shaw and Kane are executing anyone still alive that attended this disgusting event,” he says. “The feed also isn’t working apparently. Ophelia scammed abunch of people who initially paid. Morris checked it out and turned it off just in case.”
“Great, thanks. Ophelia has a lab and I’m destroying everything now. She broke my pack’s bonds with Isolde, which means she has access to technology that she shouldn’t,” I explain.
“It’s possible to break bonds?” he asks, appearing ill.
The only people who know that Ophelia did this outside of my pack are Pack Kelly and Pack Dresmond. The less people who know it’s possible, the better.
“Yeah, the bitch is vile. Did you happen to see a young girl in that room by chance? Ophelia’s daughter is complicit in hurting my omega,” I explain.
“No. I’ll canvas the building with a couple of people. She won’t be able to get far without any access to a vehicle,” Jed says.
While we were surrounding the building, we sliced the tires of every vehicle in the parking lot. Oliver and Alesso walked onto the property after we dropped them off. There are so many moving parts to this rescue mission, and I’ll soon be able to breathe again.
“Do you need a little fire to make sure this place can never be used again?” I ask. The building can’t be rehabilitated in my mind. There’s been too much death.
“If you can manage an explosion, that would be much appreciated,” Jed says, walking backward. “Give me ten minutes?”
“Yep!” I agree, walking into the lab.
Pulling open the fridge, I begin looking over the different vials she has before disposing of them. I honestly may be a little more than ten minutes, because she was loaded for bear.
I wouldn’t be surprised if she was planning to leave the state with her daughter and start over in the drug business instead.Without a bubble of protection, selling humans isn’t worth the hassle I expect.
There’s too many different types of drugs and illegal medications for her to have planned anything else.
Any eyes on Ophelia?I ask Oli as I continue to destroy her stash.
Yeah, Damon has her. No idea where her daughter is. She and Rock Dresmond were fucking, Lucas. Damon is going to have to tell his brothers about this. Where are you?Oli asks.
Fuck me. It makes sense that Rock would have protected her if they had a kid together. Looking around the building, I decide that I need to ask Oli to look for all properties that have her daughter’s name on the deed. Maybe that’s how this place flew under the radar.
It’s conjecture, but it would make sense.
Ophelia’s lab. Go past the stage, hang a right and walk all the way down,I grunt.Isolde is with Grant working off the drugs Ophelia gave her.
