Chapter Four

Lilly

Thirty minutes ago, Cass was groaning about the sand sticking to his bare feet while we walked toward the ocean. Now, he’s waist deep in the water, laughing so hard he can barely breathe because every two minutes, he sneaks up behind me and pinches at my thighs lightly, scaring me and making me jump. I’ve already slapped him twice on his shoulder to no avail. He reaches out and grabs my ankle, pulling me to him. He places my legs on either side of his waist and wraps his arms around mine.

The sexual tension goes from zero to ten in less than ten seconds. My pussy is pressed against his cock through the thin materials we have on. I look down at his lips, my arms around his neck and I can’t help but wonder how the salt water tastes on him. It doesn’t take me long to find out, either. I lower my lips to his and this time, I slide my tongue through his lips, running it across his bottom lip.

Cass’s hands around my waist search for some part of me to grip onto. A low, feral moan comes from deep in his chest. His hand travels around my side to my stomach and his fingers slip beneath my swimsuit bottoms easily. His fingers slide acrossthat sweet spot I’ve been dying for him to touch since we were in the store. I feel like a shark that’s just gotten its first taste of blood. Kissing Cass passionately, I don’t want to stop. Don’t want to come up for air. He’s all I need. My pussy throbs. Aches. Wants.

I rock my hips against his fingers, needing the friction. Needing the feeling. My hand travels down to his hard length that’s straining against his shorts, begging to be released and who am I to deny that? I undo the Velcro that holds it together and he springs free. I wrap my hand around him and stroke him gently.

Cass breaks our kiss. Head tilted back. Mouth open. A pleasurable groan falling off his lips. His fingers pick up speed between my legs while I work my hand tediously up and down, curving as I reach the tip of his cock then slamming down to his base again.

I lean forward, covering his mouth with mine. Needing him to kiss me. To feel his tongue collide with mine while he pleases me and I tease him. I’m nearing the brink of orgasm. I’m so close I can almost taste it. But that isn’t in the cards today because just when I think I’m going to explode, a man’s voice cuts through that pleasure like soldering iron to butter.

“Cass!”

Cass and I abruptly stop and look toward the unwelcome interruption. Linc is standing on the shore in blue jeans, botos, and his cut with an ‘oh shit’ look on his face. I turn my attention to Cass to see his face contorted in anger and confusion, making me understand why Linc looks like he’s seen a ghost.

“What?” Cass yells back through gritted teeth as he ties his swimming trunks and rises out of the water, storming toward the shore.

“It’s uh—uh Scott. He’s been trying to get in touch with you. Says it’s important.”

Cass walks right past him once we reach the shore, headed toward the bike. He is, no doubt, going to grab his phone. I’m not entirely sure what I’m supposed to be doing, so I stand next to Linc and wait.

“Sorry, Lilly.” Linc’s apology is heartfelt. He wasn’t trying to fuck anything up. Hell, he’s the best prospect I’ve ever seen. Not that that is saying much because I haven’t been around that long but none of the other prospects appear to be as dedicated as he is. That much is obvious. In this club or the others I’ve been around for that matter.

“It’s okay. Don’t worry about it, Linc. You did the right thing. If Scott says it’s important, then you did right. I don’t think Cass is pissed at you, I think he just wasn’t happy that he got cock-blocked,” I say light-heartedly.

I watch Cass from where I stand, still just as sexually frustrated as I was when his hand was inside of my bikini bottoms. From here, I can tell that his arm is strained from bending to hold the phone to his ear. He paces back and forth by the bike, something hehasto do so that he can focus. I noticed it a few weeks ago. Anytime he gets on a phone call, if he isn’t already doing something, he has to pace to retain the information from the conversation.

Linc starts toward the parking lot, and I follow. I’m shivering. It isn’t cold, but it was much warmer when we were in the water. Now that the wind is blowing, I’m ready to wrap a towel around myself and change into some actual clothes. I almost want to pout at the interruption because Linc didn’t only interrupt our potential sexual encounter, he interrupted our day. I know it’s selfish to feel that way but damn it, I can’t help it. It’s been a long time since we spent the day together, alone.

Cass is still pacing when we make it to the parking lot, with the phone still pressed to his ear.

“Then make sure they don’t do anything stupid.” Chills pepper my skin and this time it isn’t because of the wind. It’s the ice in Cass’s voice. He sounds like a complete stranger. His words are curt, and he emphasized on every word, through clenched teeth. He’s pissed. I try not to cower. It isn’t that I’m afraid of him, because that’s the last thing I am. It’s because I know he’s livid and I don’t want to see what were to happen if he were to get his hands on whoever ‘they’ is.

I retrieve my clothes from the bike before rinsing my feet off in the showers. Once my feet are as sand-free as they’re going to get, I rush up the stairs to the bathroom to change into my clothes. Changing quickly, I rush back downstairs to find Cass and Linc talking.

“You didn’t have to change.”

“We were done on the beach and I was cold.” I rub my arms.

“I need to change, too. We have to meet up with Clayton shortly, anyway.”

Cass grabs his things and walks away to change, leaving me and Linc standing by the bikes.

I open my phone to check my texts.

Mindy: The guys that kidnapped you, weren’t they part of another club?

Lilly: Yeah, why?

Mindy: Because there’s a few guys from another club in here now.

Lilly: What club?

Mindy: Moccasins.
