“Wow. That is really good.”
I smirk at him. “Told you.”
“So, what do you want to do today? We still have a few hours before we have to meet up with Clayton.”
“Hmm. What about the beach?” I ask, excitedly.
Cass furrows his brows and growls. “Grr.”
“What?”
“I hate the damn sand. Especially if I get wet, then have to walk in it.”
“But, baby.” I protest, poking my lip out.
Cass chuckles and just hangs his head in defeat. “Okay, fine. But only because you’re fuckin’ adorable.”
We finish our ice cream and head toward the beach. I lean up for better access to Cass’s ear so he can hear me.
“We need to stop at a gift shop!”
“Okay.”
I lean back on the sissy bar and watch the sights around us until we turn into one of the over-sized gift shops. Inside, it’s easily the size of a small grocery store. There are swimsuits, towels, men’s swimming trunks, t-shirts, and so much more. I walk straight to the swimsuit section, thinking I left Cass behind until he speaks behind me, and I almost have a heart attack from him startling me.
“What about that one?” he asks before laughing at me jumping.
I look in the direction he’s pointing. There’s a black fringebikini that ties around the neck with high-waisted bottoms. “I actually kinda like it.”
I snag it from the wall and take it to the dressing room. “Wait right here because I’m going to need your opinion.”
Changing into the bikini, I look at my reflection. The way that the black contrasts against my tanned skin looks good and it’s way more comfortable than I’d expected. The bottoms sit perfectly on my high hips and don’t show too much. I pop my head out of the dressing room door to find Cass exactly where I left him.
“What do you think?” I ask, stepping out of the dressing room and spinning around for him.
His eyes darken and I see a fire ignite there. “I think you better hurry up and change before I rip it off you in the middle of this store and fuck you right here.”
I shimmy my ass as I dip back into the dressing room. I change into my clothes quickly and exit to find that Cass is no longer where I left him. A pout forms on my lips, though I know he couldn’t have gone far. I look around the store and don’t see him from where I stand. The store is quiet enough that I can hear my own footsteps as I walk through the aisles, looking for Cass. I find him staring at swim trunks. He has a dark purple pair in his hand when I pop up beside him.
“I think those will look good on you.”
Cass looks down at me. “You think so?”
“Yep. I think you should get ‘em.”
He lays them over his arm and nods. “Why don’t yougrab a few shirts and maybe a pair of sweatpants. I know we didn’t pack for coming out here.”
“Perfect.”
I saunter over to the women’s section of the store. There are multiple racks with t-shirts and sweatpants. I settle on a grey pair of sweatpants that have ‘Biloxi Beach’ written down the leg and grab two shirts. When I think I’m done, I spot a tank top that I can’t pass up. It’s solid white with lavender writing on it and the material makes it the most comfortable razorback tank I’ve ever felt.
I turn to face Cass, who’s been close by staring at his phone while I’m browsing. “I think this will do.”
He stuffs his phone in his pocket and meets my eyes with a smile before wrapping his free arm around my waist and directing us toward the counter. We pay for our merchandise and head to the beach. Cass pulls into one of those random parking lots on the side of the road that lead to the beach not far from the gift shop.
This one has a bathroom and outdoor showers, for people like Cass who don’t like sand on them I’d assume.
I change into my swimsuit while Cass puts on his new trunks. I meet him where the concrete meets the sand and one of us is a smidge more excited than the other. Now, it’s my personal mission to make sure he has just as much fun as me.
