‍??‏‏‏ "That was amazing," she says, snuggling up against me. "But I think we need a break."

‍??‏‏‏ “I agree," I say. "And food too."

‍??‏‏‏ "Me too," she says. "I love you, Dhakar," she whispers.

‍??‏‏‏ "I love you too, my little human," I reply.

‍??‏‏‏ "We should go back to sleep," she says.

‍??‏‏‏ "Good plan," I nod. We both drift off to sleep, wrapped in each other's arms.

EPILOGUE

Many months have passed and here I am, showing the people of Bellaria my son. Emma is my love for eternity, my life... my little human.

"He is perfect, my love," Emma smiles at me. “A little miracle from above."

"He is," I nod. "He is the fruit of our love for each other."

"Yes, Dhakar. You are my love," she kisses me. "You know that?"

"I do," I kiss her back. She is my everything. We were meant to be together. It was fate.

She looks at me with those big blue eyes and it makes me tremble inside.

Emma is beautiful and kind. I never thought such a female could exist in this world.

"Tonight we celebrate the birth of our son," I tell Emma. "I'll go ask Hexal to prepare everything for the celebration."

"Oh, yes please!" Emma claps. "Let's make it big! The whole village can come if they want."

"We don't need all of them," I chuckle. "Just the ones we want to be there."

"I would be honored if everyone came to celebrate with us," she says and then giggles like a little girl.

"Everything will be fine, my love," I say and put an arm around her shoulder.

"Of course it will," Emma nods. "It has to be because we are one."

"And you're my everything," I smile at her.

"I think I'm the luckiest woman on the planet," she laughs. "So, what about the feast? Will it be a traditional feast?"

"Yes," I nod and take her hand. "Come on, let's go tell Hexal to start preparing the celebration."

She giggles again and takes my hand, but that doesn't stop her from looking over her shoulder at me.

Her eyes are filled with love, but she isn't smiling. That is unusual.

"What is wrong, love?" I ask worriedly.

"Nothing," she shakes her head. "What about the baby? I can't leave him alone."

"Don't worry, he'll be all right," I reassure her. " Valeray will watch over him while we're away."
