She ran her thumb over his bottom lip, then bent down and pressed her mouth to his. Daemon idly ran his hands from her calves up to her thighs, stopping at the tops of her stockings where he slowly untied the ribbons that held them in place. Breaking their kiss, he grinned up at her, “Let’s get these off and get you cleaned up.”

With deft fingers, he rolled her stockings down her legs, caressing the silkiness of her skin as his hands slid down. Having lost her shoes at some point–either during sex or after, he wasn’t sure–he was able to slip the stocking over her foot. After placing a chaste kiss on the inside of her ankle, he repeated the process on the other leg.

Daemon stood and turned to pour the oils into the bathwater as it ran. Grabbing a cloth, he submerged it in the water before turning back to Auraelia. Gliding a finger across her cheek, he picked up the few strands of hair that had fallen out of her braids and twists and tucked them behind her ear.

“Turn.”

Creases formed on her brow, as confusion painted her features. “Excuse me?”

He chuckled, then held up a finger and moved it in a rotating motion, gesturing for her to follow suit. “Turn around, Auraelia. I want to clean you off before you climb into the bath.”

Realization dawned on her face, and she turned as her face flushed.

Daemon got to work. Taking the damp cloth, he slowly wiped away the evidence of their encounter. When her back was clean, he swiped the cloth over the round cheeks of her ass, then dipped it between her legs. A surprised gasp, which quickly turned into a moan, slipped from her lips. The sound sent a wave of heat straight to his cock.

Fuck, I could come just from the sounds she makes.

Keeping one hand between her legs, he snaked the other around her waist and pulled her to him. He nuzzled into her neck, then trailed kisses up the slender column. Her head fell to the side, giving him better access as the sound of her moans slipped through closed lips.

“Into the bath, Auraelia.” He pulled away and heard her grumble as she stepped into the warm water. Daemon chuckled at her barely concealed outburst.Insatiable creature.

Auraelia sucked a sharp inhale through her teeth as she sank down into the heat of the water. When she was submerged up to her neck, her breasts barely breaking the surface, she let out a contented sigh and closed her eyes. Daemon watched as the tension in her muscles ebbed away with every second she soaked. Cracking an eye, Auraelia turned her head toward him with a smirk on her lips.

“Are you just going to stand there, or do you plan on joining me?”

He matched her smirk with one of his own, “Do you want me to? I thought you might like some personal space.”

She sat up, and slid into the middle of the tub, making room for him behind her. “Would you just get in, already?” Her words were laced with annoyed amusement, and it brought a smile to his lips.

“As you wish, Princess,” he replied with a mock bow.

Auraelia splashed him with water and rolled her eyes, “Ass.”

He chuckled then climbed in behind her.

Once he was seated, he extended his legs out on either side of hers and pulled her to him so she could lean back on his chest.

“Is this ok?” he asked, unsure where to put his hands regardless of the fact that he had just had them all over her body mere moments ago.

Auraelia relaxed into him and rested her head on his shoulder, immediately releasing the tension he felt. He grabbed the sponge that sat on the ledge next to the bath and submerged it in the water. Daemon trailed it across her chest, squeezing out the water as he went and letting it trickle down her breasts and back into the tub. He repeated the process over again, while she absentmindedly traced circles on his raised knee.

After a few moments of companionable silence, Auraelia took the sponge from him and set it back on the ledge. Grabbing his hand, she started to trace the designs that were tattooed on his arm.

“Tell me about your tattoos.” It wasn’t quite a question, but there was a hint of hesitance behind it.

“What would you like to know?”

“Do they have any specific meanings? Why so many? How long did it take to do them?”

Sensing that the series of questions wasn’t going to let up any time soon, Daemon chuckled. “Alright, alright. Yes, some have specific meanings, some don’t. I have this many because I wanted them, and I will probably get more. As for how long it took? It took a while. I didn’t get them all done at once, but my arms took the longest.”

“Would you tell me about the woman on your chest?” Curiosity laced her words, and she looked up to meet his gaze.

Nodding, Daemon began to tell her the tale of the goddess who looks after his people.

“Narissa is the goddess of my court, just like the Goddess Rhayne is here in Lyndaria. She is the Goddess of the Sea and the Sky, and she protects the sailors that sail her waters with dignity and honesty. Those who don't meet the fate of her creatures that roam the deepest parts of the sea only surfacing to dole out her justice. On occasion, she has been seen perched on the rocks that jut out into the water, luring those with darkness in their hearts to their death with her siren song.”

“Why are her eyes blank? How is she the goddess of the sky as well as the sea?”
