Ken froze, but his gaze was defiant as he looked over Justin’s shoulder, meeting Lester’s eyes without a trace of shame. He wouldn’t let himself feel it. He had nothing to be ashamed of, he and Justin were both consenting adults and not breaking any rules.

“Is there something we can help you with?” Ken looked into Justin’s eyes, seeing the panic there, how Justin seemed frozen in place. Well, Ken could handle this, and if Lester wanted to start a problem, Ken could give him a problem.

The truth was, it was really none of Lester’s business if Ken and Justin warmed each other’s beds. Once, Lester had tried to control the members of the Lost Boys, had tried to turn their love lives into a publicity stunt, but that had backfired spectacularly when Jamie and Lance had fallen in love when they weren’t supposed to.

“I just came to see how the song is going.” Lester, with a sort of reluctant air, apparently decided not to make a big deal about finding Justin sitting on Ken’s lap, and that was a bit of a relief. He probably knew that, if he did throw a fit, he couldn’t actually win the battle he would start.

“It’s going.” Justin didn’t turn to look at Lester, but he did finally speak. “It would go better if we weren’t interrupted.”

Which was blunt enough, Ken supposed, and he smiled at Justin, who actually winked at him. The funny side of this, it seemed, had occurred to both of them.

“Look, you guys can do what you want alone, but this studio time? It costs money,” Lester spoke just as bluntly, and Ken fought off the immature urge to stick out his tongue at the guy. “So keep it in your pants and get me that song.”

Justin’s face had turned thoughtful, and when Lester spun dramatically on his heel and left the room, though not without slamming the door with excessive force, Ken shook his head and then looked at the older man, trying to read his face.

“Another reference to money,” Justin mused, almost like he was talking to himself. “What is up with that whole money thing? Something doesn’t make sense.”

Ken sighed and shrugged. He had talked to the other Lost Boys, and they all agreed, but none of them knew what Lester knew, he had to admit that.

“I don’t know, babe. We don’t see all the stuff Lester does. Or maybe he’s just really bad at his job.” Ken shrugged and then shot Justin a wicked wink. “Though him being such a dick sort of makes me want to do things in this studio that he definitely wouldn’t approve of.”

Justin smirked back at him, and he slid back on Ken’s thick thighs a little bit, his hands going down to rub at the front of Ken’s pants. Ken had had quite the boner going before, and while it had died down a bit when Lester had come storming in, Justin got him going again nicely.

“We’d have to be quick,” Justin purred, and there was a blatant erotic challenge in his eyes as he slid down the zipper of Ken’s jeans and popped open the button, his fingers teasing at Ken’s cock through his underwear.

“This is insane,” Ken whispered, but he didn’t have it in him to turn it down, either. If he did, he knew that Justin would stop, but that was probably the last thing in the world that he wanted.

Justin was so calm, so restrained most of the time, so to see him at the point of arousal where he would take a risk like this, it was hot as hell.

“Lock the door,” Ken groaned, and Justin, who had been waiting to see which way Ken went, smirked wider at him and reached the short distance over to turn the deadbolt on the door. With that done, Justin slipped out of the chair, going onto his knees in front of Ken and taking out his cock, immediately engulfing it in his hot mouth.

It was all so hurried, so rushed, because locked door or not there were people who had the key. People like, for instance, Lester. They could be caught so easily, so clothing didn’t get removed, just pushed out of the way. It all added an air of desperation to the whole thing, and Ken really, truly felt like Justin needed him, maybe even as much as Ken needed Justin.

He wasn’t used to feeling like that.

Not that he could think about it a lot, not with the thrilling way that Justin was fucking his own face on Ken’s cock, not with the slight rasp of Justin’s stubble, or the way those eyes gazed up at him, shimmering with desire and something that almost looked like affection.

It was too much, and Justin was just too good. Ken leaned back, giving Justin full access to his body, not able to look away from him for a second. The guy was a walking wet dream. How had Ken gone so long without noticing that? The way those full lips wrapped around Ken, stretched wide as they caressed along his length, the way the older man’s hands cupped Ken’s balls and rolled them gently as he sucked, it was all pure heaven.

“Fuck, baby, you’re gonna make me come,” Ken realized, his breathing getting shorter as the pleasure pooled in the pit of his stomach, hot and more urgent by the second. And Justin just moaned in encouragement, and when Ken glanced down past Justin’s face, he saw something that made it even more inevitable.

Justin had eased down his sweats and had tugged out his own cock. He was stroking it, playing with himself, as he pleasured Ken, his hand almost rough with himself. Ken saw the gleam of shimmering white precome on his head, and it was just too much for a man to take.

“Justin,” he whispered and gritted his teeth as his hips rose up off of the chair, forcing his dick up into Justin’s mouth as he gave in to the heat which coursed through him. “Justin, I …”

By keeping his teeth tightly together, though, he was able to hold back the words. Would Justin even believe him if he said them? Or would he just laugh at Ken and point out that Ken had thought he was in love before? It wasn’t a risk that Ken was willing to take, not just yet.

It was so easy to get lost in the pleasure, too, especially when Justin gave a sweet, sexy little moan, muffled by Ken’s spasming, twitching, pulsing cock. When Justin coated his own hand with his release, Ken could just let himself get swept away.

He’d never been all that great at holding back his emotions, but maybe Justin was good for him because he was finding it easier.

* * *

For a few days, it seemed that Justin had forgotten about his offer. Maybe Jade had changed her mind, or Justin had, and they weren’t going to get to meet after all. It was a pretty big step, and maybe Justin just wasn’t ready to let it happen.

The thought was pretty depressing. He had thought, or maybe just hoped, that Justin was starting to trust him, and he’d been excited to meet the little girl who was such a huge part of Justin’s life. So when the text came on Saturday night, asking him if he’d like to get together for a picnic on the beach with Justin and his daughter the next day, Ken fought down a surge of giddiness but nevertheless almost broke his fingers with how fast he typed out his acceptance.
