We finish the call and I look at Malice. With a nod, he leaves to get our shed ready. Out in the back of the compound we have a soundproof shed we use for our wet work. Makes cleanup easier. We have Elvis for that as he is the club's cleaner and an expert in what he does.
Elvis runs the club’s crime scene cleaning business. This is great for two reasons; one it brings in a boatload of money for us and gives us genuine reasons to have access to everything we need for cleaning crime scenes and getting rid of bodies we don’t want any finding out about.
“I want in on this Prez. I want to make him bleed for what he did to my sister,” Tyres seething says.
“You will do, brother. Would never take that right away from you. I might be her ol man now but you are still her brother and would want to protect her.”
“Thanks, Prez, let me know when he’s here. I am going to find Debs”
“Claim her brother, good woman, right there. They don’t come around too often.” I warn
“Just friends Prez. She is too good for the likes of me. My darkness would swallow her light”
It breaks me to think my brother feels like he is not worthy of the love of a good woman. We all are worthy and deserve love. Even the darkest of us deserve some light in our lives.
“Does that mean I am not good enough for Raven?” I ask
He looks shocked by my question.
“Fuck Prez, you are the best thing to happen to Rave, with you I know she will be safe and cared for and you would kill for her.”
“So, does Debs not deserve the same? If you are too dark for debs then what the fuck am I?”
I can see the cogs in his mind start to work and think over what I have said. Hopefully, it will sink in. All the brothers deserve goodness in their lives. It is what makes the bad times worth going through so we can enjoy the good.
“I’ll think about it,” he says as he leaves the room.
Suede and I remain locked in my office. Both quietly thinking over the last week or so in our minds. I can’t seem to get what Raven said out of my mind. The skip was too easy, the information was too spot on and detailed than the normal tips they receive.
“It doesn’t feel right brother,” I say out loud finally
“What doesn’t”
“Raven said it was too easy. The skip, information was passed to them about where he would be, it was too detailed and too spot on. She said her instincts threw up a load of red flags but she ignored them.”
“You think she was set up?” he asks confused
“It has been playing on my mind but saying it all out loud has confirmed it. But yes, I think it could be possible she was set up. I am going to get Cyber to look into the tip more.”
“Good idea, if there is anything to find then Cyber will find it”
Nodding, I send Cyber a message and he confirms he will make it a priority. Now we just need to wait.
“I can feel it in the air Suede, trouble is coming”
It only takes Maddog’s friend two days to deliver our package and it is chilling in the shed waiting for us. We are in no rush; he can hang out there for a while.
After he has relaxed for a while, we make our way to the shed. Malice and Country are fired up for this. Country loves to get bloody in creative ways. He looks harmless in his cowboy hat and boots, but the man is lethal.
“How are you hanging thereTyler?” I ask as we enter the shed, causing a few sniggers.
Hanging from the rafters in the middle of the shed by his wrists is Tyler. He has been stripped down to his underwear. Country has the heating set up perfectly so he can make it like an oven one minute and an ice box the next. He will keep switching from one extreme to the other, playing with his prey.
“Go to hell” Tyler spits
“That is where you are going,” I warn him
“Now do you understand why you are here Tyler?” I ask
