I was lost.

Inside him.

Within him.

And I didn’t want to be found.

“Harder.” My nails dug down even more. “Please.”

The bricks were stinging my shoulder blades as I scraped against them, the feeling like rug burn, even through the sweater. But I didn’t care. Everything felt incredible, even that.

“Are you sure you can handle it harder? I know that’s what you asked for, but I don’t want to break you.”

I panted, “Break me.”

He aligned our lips. “Don’t tease me, Sadie.”

“This isn’t a tease. This is me begging you. I need you, Lockhart?—”

The air left my lungs as he gave me exactly what I’d asked for.

But I didn’t need to breathe.

Because the tingling was building, and I was no longer in control.

Not of the sounds coming out of me.

Not of the air that was or wasn’t moving through me.

“You’re tightening.” He shot forward, giving me the deepest, fastest slam. “You’re going to come.”

I was, which was why I demanded, “Don’t stop,” and then I screamed, “Please, oh God, don’t stop!”

How did he know my body so well?

How could he make me feel this amazing after only sleeping together one other night?

Why did it feel like I’d been with this man my entire life?

“Come with me,” I pleaded. “Please, Lockhart, I need you to. I need to feel it.”

As soon as the words left my mouth, his lips silenced me from saying anything else. And once again, this kiss was different from the others.

It was hungrier.

Needier.

Far more demanding.

And it came with a promise.

Because within a few more dunks, he was giving me everything I’d asked for.

“Ah!” My scream lasted for several seconds as I neared the peak. “Oh my God, Lockhart, I’m there! I’m coming!”

“Fuck! You’re making me come too!”

We were shuddering together. Our shouts mingled, our moans intertwined, our movements matched as we rocked into each other.
