And I wanted to lick each one.

“You’re looking at me like you haven’t already seen most of my body.”

Reluctantly, my eyes rose to hers. “I feel as though I haven’t.”

“How can you say that?”

I closed the distance between us, rubbing my hands over her legs. My pressure wasn’t like a massage; this was lighter. “The woman I saw at the club isn’t the same woman who’s in my kitchen now.” My face leaned in closer. “What I saw there was a screen. A filter. You might as well have been dressed in a fucking snowsuit.” I traced the bottom of her jaw. “Here, I’m seeing you for the first time, and, my God, Addy, I’ve never seen anything so gorgeous.”

“It’s like I’ve never heard those words before—that’s how powerful you make them feel.”

I caged her between my arms. “And knowing that body is going to be mine tonight—you have no idea what that’s doing to me.”

“Tell me.”

I hovered my lips over hers. “I want to fucking worship you. Starting with your hair that I want wrapped around my fist, moving to your skin that I want to lick and suck. Bite. And when I can’t take another second of not being inside of you, I’m going to slide into your hot, wet pussy. A pussy that’s so wet because of what my tongue plans to do to it.”

I kissed her.

Not just a parting of lips and the exchange of breath.

This was a kiss that she’d remember. One that tilted her face at a new angle, that gripped her cheek, that had my tongue slipping into her mouth, that had her inhaling my air.

And when I pulled back, she let out a long, deep pant. “Wow.”

Her eyes were wide, feral.

Starving.

“I don’t know what’s been spoken to you before. I can only tell you that even though that’s the best I’ve got, that statement isn’t nearly strong enough. Because nothing I said even comes close to describing what I’m looking at right now.”

Her hand went to my cheek, holding it while she gazed into my eyes. The silence from her was louder than anything I’d ever heard.

What she wasn’t saying, what I’d sensed from our previous conversation, was that Addy hadn’t been appreciated the way she deserved and what I gave her was something she hadn’t anticipated.

She was here for an escape. That was all she’d admit to.

For now.

But she was getting much more, and she’d continue to until she walked out my door.

“There’s nothing like you,” I whispered.

That was confirmed the more I talked to her, the more I learned, the bit by bit she unraveled.

She scanned my eyes, from right to left, and then a slower sweep, reversing the pattern. “What are you doing to me?”

“Nothing yet.”

Her head shook. “That’s not true.”

“You came to my house for my lips … it’s time you get them.”

Her finger pressed against the center of my mouth as though she were quieting me.

I knew she wasn’t.

“Regardless of what I came for, you’re giving me much more than just these.”
