“After all of this time, we finally get to meet.”

“Yeah. I guess so. I see you have been through some great lengths in tryin’ to take down my club,” Chase replies and glares him down.

Colm is checking his phone off to the side and I’m getting worried. Not only is he my lead to make sure my girl is okay, but also my babies.

Chapter Twenty-Two

Dale

Colm’s eyes are direct right to me and I know exactly what he’s trying to say. This has all been a setup because of Natalia. Natalia’s father’s club, The Spiders MC, has been a rock in our shoes this whole time and we finally have enough to fuckin’ take them down.

With Natalia being back in the area, we have enough shit on the club to knock them down.

It is quick. Colm gives me the signal that it is time to make moves, and I quickly grab the bag from below me to throw it backward. One of the brothers grabs the bag and makes a run for it.

The man in front of us starts to chuckle again and I recognize him as the one who was shooting at us. With me going to the hospital like I did, I didn’t have the chance to finish him like I wanted to. I remember asking the club to leave him alone so I could do it.

I grab my gun from behind me in the back of my jeans and aim at him. I make a quick decision to aim it at his knee instead. He falls quickly to the ground and is screaming.

The commotion is enough to draw the other men out of their hiding spots. Each of them are coming towards us like ants. One by one, we take them down. It’s a quick fight with a lot of bullets and blood now caking the ground below us. It is enough to prove something to the Spiders.

The Hell’s Tribe MC are not the ones to be fucked with.

With the man below me, I look at him with malice. Because of him, my whole world blew up. Because of him, he fucked up things with my girl and now I have no idea if I’m ever going to get her back.

“Put your mouth on the curb,” I order him with my gun pointed right to his head.

The man doesn’t move easily and I shoot my gun just to the left of him. He’s freaking out and does exactly what I asked him to do. Once his mouth is on the curb, I lift up my boot and stomp down on his head.

His jaw breaks with an awful crack and that was the end of this fight.

“We gotta go to Cassie’s shop. Now,” Colm shouts with his fist up in the air.

“What the fuck happened?” I question.

Chase, Colm, and I are on our bikes in seconds ready to eat the pavement. We need to get to her work as soon as possible. I fear the worse as we ride out there. What if this is just another thing that pushes her farther away from me? She has been so pushed away from me that she might never come back.

If I lose her because of the club, I’m done. I can’t lose Cassie and those babies.

Shit. I also can’t lose Maverick as well.

By the time we get to the tattoo parlor where Cassie works out, there’s a man at the door with a gun waiting for us. What the fuck is with everyone holding a gun toward us?

“Where’s my woman?” I ask.

He smirks. “We’ve been waitin’ for you.”

We walk into the room and instantly see Cassie and Natalia surrounded by a bunch of Spiders looking at them.

“What the fuck are you doin’?” Chase asks with a knife stabbing into the back of one of the men.

He falls to the ground with a sudden boom and then the next man comes at us. I take my pocket knife from my back pocket and stab him in the neck. He falls down with his other partner.

I look at my girl and my wife in the middle of the Spiders to make sure that not a hair on the back of their head has been touched. They don’t look like they have been physically hurt but they do look scared out of their minds. I could only imagine what has been going through Cassie’s head.

My eyes drop to her stomach and I feel my own stomach drop to my knees. I can’t believe I’m about to be a father to three kids.

I need to make this work.
