“Not my problem.”

“That was mean.” Passion giggled.

“That was real. I can’t stand a begging ass bitch. Like, I get it, but let me offer it to you first,” I explained. Instead of responding, she simply nodded and took a sip from her drink.

“But check it. These my brothers, Memphis and Houston.” I introduced my brothers to Passion, and everyone exchanged hellos. The deejay started playing Future’s “Freak Hoe” right when the other girls came in.

“Let a nigga get a dance,” I requested.

I watched as she set her drink on the small table beside us before she got up and started catching up with the beat.

I sipped on my drink as I watched her twerk her ass to the beat. She wasn’t like these other girls in here. She moved in a more sensual, rhythmic fashion, almost like the music was taking over her body. She turned around and stared a nigga dead in the eyes as she continued to dance to the beat. Shit was hypnotizing as fuck. I sat up to give shawty all my attention, making crispy bills rain all over her sexy ass, when my night went to shit.

“Really, Jersey? You can sit here and rain money on this bitch like you don’t have a child to take care of?” Shanna came into mysection, acting like the dumbass ghetto bird she was. I didn’t give two shits about what she was saying, though. She knew my son was well taken care of.

“Man, Shanna, I ain’t got time for your shit tonight, bruh. If you came to party, I suggest you go back and do that,” I warned.

“I ain’t doing shit until you tell this bitch to leave.”

I set my drink on the table that was off to the side and stood up from the couch that I was previously enjoying my view from.

“Yo, what the fuck is you doing? I don’t know what you got going on, but you know I ain’t that nigga. Keep showing out for your busted ass friends and watch how fast I embarrass yo’ ass in here.” I glowered down at her, waiting for her to say something so I could choke her lil’ ass out.

“Fuck you, Jersey! You and that bitch!” she yelled before turning to leave.

“Look, I don’t know why you got a problem with me, but you need to chill with all the name calling,” Passion warned.

“Bitch, fuck you! You need to back the fuck up from my baby daddy!”

“You got it. Looks like I already got your child support money, anyway.”

“Bitch!” Shanna bellowed before attacking Passion. The shit happened so fast I didn’t have time to react fast enough.

I jumped in to break the shit up, but Passion was putting in some serious work on Shanna’s ass. I was finally able to break the two apart, but not before Passion elbowed the shit outta me in the chin.

“Fuck,” I grunted. “Aye, calm down, shawty.”

“I’ma see you, bitch! Believe that! Jersey, I got something for yo’ bitch ass too!” Shanna yelled as she was escorted out the section. I would deal with her ass later.

“Yo, you good?” I asked Passion, surveying her face for any damage. Shanna scratched her up pretty good.

“Yeah, I’m straight,” she uttered.

“Look, I’on fuck with her like that. I’on like that shit she just pulled, so I’ma handle that.”

“You don’t have to. I’m good. I’ma get my stuff and go. I’m not going back out there with my face scratched up like this.”

“You driving?” I probed. I remembered watching her and her sister walk down the block when I ran into them earlier.

“No. I’ll get an Uber.”

“Nah, I’ll take you home. It’s too late for you to be riding by yourself, and you got money on you and shit.” Muthafuckas were crazy these days, and I couldn’t have that shit on my conscience.

“You don’t have to do that. I got a blade and mace on me.”

“That’s all good, shawty, but I ain’t that nigga to let you go out like that. I got you.” She didn’t say anything else before nodding and heading to the back to get her things.

“Nigga, the fuck was that?” Memphis questioned when I got back over to where they were.
