From where he sat by Gene, Ethan was curious.

“When we’re done, can I have a moment of your time, Callen’s, and Gene’s?” he asked. “I’d like to show you the space for my mother’s tribute.”

Elizabeth smiled at him.

“You can have all of my time. Just kick the big man to the curb and run away with me.”

Gene laughed.

It was to enjoy the view, and think about how he was going to tell her he was staying.

Since this morning, she didn’t mention him not going, and he was waiting for that moment to tell her.

Was it good news?

He hoped she’d take it that way.

When the coast was clear, he moved closer, and distracted her from the text she was sending to her officers. By grabbing her, to pull her into his arms, he caught Rayna off guard.

Perfect.

She gasped, and then stared up into his grass-green eyes as she balanced herself against him.

“Oh, hey, there, Caspian. What can I do for you?” she asked, feeling his erection pressed against her belly.

God.

She loved that he was thinking about sex, and her in the same moment.

“You’re beautiful,” he admitted.

Her heart fluttered in her chest.
