The monitors beep in a slow, steady rhythm that matches Noah’s fingers brushing over the back of my hand. Julian stands across from us, arms crossed tight against his chest, his expression unreadable. His eyes stay glued to Elias’s face.

He hasn’t moved yet.

Noah gave blood as soon as the results came back. No hesitation. Elias is alive because Noah was here.

The door clicks quietly open, and the nurse gives us a small nod before she looks at Elias. “He’s waking up.”

My stomach flips.

Noah squeezes my hand. Julian uncrosses his arms, slowly stepping closer. The three of us lean in together as Elias’s lashes flutter, his mouth parting like he’s fighting through water.

“Elias,” I whisper, unable to stop the tears already slipping free. “Hey. You’re alright. You’re here.”

His lips twitch, dry and cracked, but that lazy half-smile curves anyway. “Shit,” he rasps. “Thought I was dreaming.”

“You wish,” Noah mutters, brushing his knuckles against Elias’s jaw. “You scared the hell out of us.”

Julian lets out a breath through his nose. “Don’t do that again.”

“Working on it,” Elias mumbles, eyes flickering over each of us before settling on me. “You okay?”

I nod, wiping my cheeks, my throat too tight to speak right away. The relief pours through me all at once, fast and hot and messy. I press my forehead against his shoulder, careful of the bandages, careful not to fall apart even though I already am.

“I’m okay,” I finally whisper. “Now that you are.”

He shifts, just enough to groan.

“Don’t move,” I say quickly, smoothing his hair away from his face. “Doctor said you’ll be fine, but you need rest.”

“He also said you’re a pain in the ass,” Noah adds, sitting on the edge of the bed. “But apparently, your body’s already healing faster than expected.”

“Alpha perks.” Elias grins weakly, then frowns. “What did I miss?”

I sit up straighter. “I need to tell you something.”

Julian’s head turns slightly. Noah watches me closely, his thumb never stopping where it circles my knuckles.

“When I was giving blood,” I start, swallowing hard, “they ran the usual checks. You know, routine screening.”

Elias blinks slowly. Noah straightens. Julian raises one brow, his entire frame going still.

I breathe in, then out. “I’m pregnant.”

The room freezes.

For half a second, there’s no reaction. Just silence and the soft hum of medical machines. Then Elias exhales a low sound that could almost be a laugh. Noah chokes on his breath. Julian stares at me like I’ve said something impossible.

“You’re… sure?” Noah finally asks.

“They confirmed it twice,” I say, wiping under my eyes. “I didn’t even think—after everything, I just thought I was stressed, late. But I’m pregnant.”

Julian moves first. He steps forward and presses a kiss to the top of my head. “We’re going to figure this out.”

Elias reaches for my hand. His grip is warm, not as strong as usual, but there’s no hesitation. “We’re going to be a family.”

Noah leans in and kisses my temple. “No matter what happens next. You, this baby… we’ve got you.”

Tears stream down my face again, but they’re different this time. Lighter. Fierce in a new way.
