“Iamyours.And yes, I’ll marry you.”

He slips the ring onto my finger, and I throw my arms aroundhis neck, planting my lips on his.Vaguely, I hear the cheers and applause ofthe restaurant staff.Ethan slides his hands around my waist, pulling me tohim.I’m going to be his wife. Now this is something I understand better than “mate.”

I’m going to be Mrs.Ethan McKenzie. The thought setsmy entire body on fire.

“Let’s go,” I mumble against his lips.

“What about your dessert?”

“Leave it.I’d rather have my man’s big dick.”

He rises to his feet, pulling me up with him.His eyes havegone dark, and his fingers tighten around mine.

“Come.”

“Don’t you have to pay?”

“It’s been taken care of.”

We rush out of the restaurant, me behind him giggling like aschool girl. When we get to the car, I push him against it before he can open mydoor. As I pull his head down to mine, he grabs my waist and presses my body tohis.I kiss him hungrily, sucking and biting his bottom lip until he lets out atortured moan.

“Get.In.The.Car,” he growls.

A delicious shiver spreads through my body, and I close myeyes, taking a quivering breath.I hear the sound of the door opening and takeone last look at him before sliding inside. The moment he takes his place nextto me, I reach over and slide my hand down his erection. He looks over just intime to catch me licking my lips.

“Christ, Casey! You’re going to kill me.”

“There are worse ways to go.”

As we make our way down Grand Avenue, I stroke him throughhis pants and listen to him mutter curses of both pleasure and frustration. After the short drive to the hotel, he leads me inside, taking long stridesthat I have to walk double-time to keep up with.We step into the elevator andbefore the doors even close, he pushes me to the back corner. He lifts me offthe floor, wraps my legs around his hips, and gives me a punishing kiss. There’sa startled gasp, and I open my eyes to find an elderly couple staring at us.The woman looks absolutely shocked while the man has a knowing smile playing onhis lips.A fit of giggles overtakes me, and Ethan places me back on my feet, chuckling in embarrassment. The couple steps inside and the woman turns up hernose.

“I’m sorry,” I apologize.“Don’t mind us.”I stick my handout to show her my ring as Ethan slides his arms around me from behind.“Wejust got engaged.”

Her look softens, and she smiles.

“Congratulations.You seem very happy.”

“I am.”

“We are,” Ethan proclaims before kissing my neck.

I turn to face him, sliding my arms under his jacket and aroundhis waist. As I rest my cheek on his chest, I notice the old couple holdinghands.Happiness is contagious. The elevator stops, and they step out, wavingto us.

“Best of luck to you,” the man says.

“Thank you,” we reply in unison.

By the time we get to our suite, we’re struggling. He’s tryingto open the door while I’m kissing him and trying to push his jacket over hisshoulders.

“Wait,” he says.

“Hurry.”

Finally, he gets the door open.We stumble inside and to thebed, knocking things over on the way. While he shrugs out of his jacket, I kickoff my heels and undo his belt, button, and zipper.I drag his pants and boxersdown his legs and watch as he springs free, bobbing up and down.

“Casey, wait.”

“Why?”
