My frown deepened. I knew he loved his privacy, but this reaction seemed extreme considering he owned forty acres, and it wasn’t uncommon for a hiker to stumble their way onto his land.
He paused then roughed both hands over his face before he dropped them like a rock. “It’s Daisy.”
