I’m so fucked up. But I guess she is too. We’re equally fucked in the head.

“I love you,” she says, hugging me once more. “Will you take me to the clinic later?”

“Of course. I don’t want to leave your side if we’re being honest.”

She grins at me. “Me neither.”

I pull her to me for another kiss where I tongue-fuck her mouth. Scout whimpers and I take that as my cue it’s time to leave. She lets me scoop her up and then deposit her inside next to her dog. Once she’s inside, I close the window.

Unable to leave just yet, I wait, lurking like a creep, and watch as she removes her coat and boots. I’m aching to see her tits, but she hurries over to her bed, darting beneath the covers, fully clothed. She shoos me away and then points toward the door.

Oh, fuck.

I back away just as her door opens. One of the twins peeks their head in. Thankfully, it’s one of them and not Wild’s parents. She says something to the kid and then the door closes. With my ass on fire, I hightail it back to the RV. When I step back inside, Wild is at the sink, starting a pot of coffee.

“What are you up doing this early?” he asks with a yawn.

He’s standing in nothing but his boxers, his long hair free from its bun and hanging over his shoulders. The man is muscular and built for football. At one time, I might have been attracted to a body like his. Now all I can think about is my sister’s.

“Thought I heard something,” I lie. “With a killer out there, I thought I better check.”

He whips around to glower at me. “Why would you go out alone?”

I wasn’t alone. Well, at least for half of it.

“It was a fox or something,” I say with a shrug. “Nothing to worry about.”

When I glance at the clock on the stove, I note that it’s almost six in the morning. Any later and we’d have risked getting caught. That was too close. We’ll have to be more careful next time.

Next time?

My dick twitches in my pants. Of course there’ll be a next time. I don’t think either of us got enough of this time. We have unfinished business.

“Here,” Wild says, thrusting a mug at me. “You need it. You’ve got bags under your eyes.”

I take the mug from him and sip the hot, bitter coffee. “Do you ever clean up after yourself?”

He’s made a mess with the coffee grounds all over the counter and the sink is full, yet again, with dishes and all the damn knives in the RV.

“That’s what I married you for,” he jokes. “You’re my house husband.”

I snort and shake my head. “You’rean idiot.”

“Spell the correct usage of that word. We’ll determine who’s the real idiot around here.”

With a grumble, I flip him off. Asshole. He cracks up laughing. Someone’s in a good mood this morning.

“So Talia is having another party and wants us to come. It’s going to be a big one tonight,” he says with a smirk. “I know you and Lila didn’t quite hit it off, but there’ll be plenty of other people to choose from.”

The last thing I want to do is go to some stupid party. Last time, Evan showed up. It fucking sucked.

“I made sure she didn’t invite my cousin.” He arches an eyebrow. “Don’t look so shocked. You’re not difficult to read, Rowdy.”

I glower at him, hoping he can read how annoyed I am at him. If he can, he ignores it completely, continuing on with his efforts to persuade me to party.

“You need to get out,” Wild says and then sips from his mug. “We both do. I’m supposed to go back to school next week. I need to finish out this one with some fun.”

“So you are going back?”
