“Yes, apply a little pressure, baby. She needs it,” my mom advocated as I shook my head.

The dinner went on with my mom asking her hosts of questions, and giggling her life away. I was feeling uneasy because they were bonding so beautifully. Messiah wasn’t a bad guy, but I knew he had a dark side to him that I wanted him to reveal. Shit, I wanted him to turn up on my ass to see how far I had to push him to get that beastly side of him.

After my mom left and Mooney went to do whatever his ass was doing with a new thot he’d met, I took Messiah out back to meet my girls. I’d built them a house in the backyard and made it like a doggy play place. They were in doggy heaven because they had everything they could ever want and need, and they were extremely spoiled.

“You better not be trying to feed me to your dogs, Juicy.”

I smirked at him. “What ever do you mean?”

“I’m not above shooting the shit out of them.”

“You better leave my dogs alone. They are harmless until I tell them not to be.” I opened the door, and we walked inside. Immediately, my girls stood in place, on guard.

“Relax, ladies. I want you all to meet someone. I guess y’all can be nice to him,” I jested, reaching up in the cabinet for their doggy treats and handing them over to Messiah. “You can do the honors.”

“I ain’t scared of ya dogs, shorty.” He took the bag from my hand and walked over to my girls. They growled, but he didn’t seem fazed. He snapped his fingers in a rhythm and started singing “No Woman, No Cry” by Bob Marley and The Wallers, and they easily began to calm.

Shock resonated on my face while I continued to watch him interact and feed them. “Reggae?” I questioned.

“I used to watch this dog show, and they said if dogs are dealing with stress, anxiety, and a few other things, reggae, soft rock, and classical music calms them.”

“Hmph… Learn something new every day.”

“That is true. I learned something new about you today.” He looked up at me from his squatting position, smirking, per usual.

“Oh yeah? What’s that?”

“You like me… a lot.”

“How you figure that?”

“You invited me to meet ya moms. That says a lot. It means you like me beyond that front you put on.”

“She demanded to meet you because Paige opened her big mouth. Don’t flatter yourself because you probably would have never met her if it were up to me.” I sassed.

He stood and stepped closer to me. “Tell me I’m lying.”

His deep voice, his dark, lustful, sexy-ass eyes, and that fucking signature leer he always gives like he knows he’s the shit, sent a signal to my pussy.

The bitch never acts right around this nigga.

Even when I think I’m in control, sheproves to me every time that I’m not. And it wasn’t just my pussy that was weak for this man; my heart was doing some funny shit too.

“Let’s go,” I told him, walking over to my babies. “Goodnight, girls. It seems like you all are betraying me too.” I rubbed and kissed their heads, then headed out the door with the pussy slayer following close behind me.

Once we made it back inside, I turned on some music and grabbed a deck of cards, the tin of dominoes, Jenga, Connect Four, and Trouble from my game closet.

“How about we make this night a little interesting…” I said, smiling at him while he took a seat on the couch. “We’re going to play a series of five games.”

“You can’t see me in none of those games, baby. I wouldn’t even make such a wager if I were you.”

“You swear you can’t lose shit.”

“I can’t. Even when I lose, I’m winning.” He winked at me.

“Okay, then let’s make a bet. Best out of the five. If you win, I’ll do whatever you want me to do. If I win, I want you to strip for me.”

“I don’t dance, shorty.”
