Her stank ass had the nerve to blush, but when she saw my face, she straightened hers and hurried out of their oversized booth. My eyes went back to Messiah as he grinned at me and licked his lips.

“Meanie, it’s good to see you again.” His eyes roved from my feet back up to my face as he licked his lips again.

“Can’t say the same about you. Why are you here?”

“Didn’t know I couldn’t be.”

“Well, I’m telling you now. Don’t bring your ass back here.”

He smiled. “Which part of the club am I banned from?”

“All of it, nigga.”

“Cool out on the name-calling, mean ass. If you want to talk about it, we can without all the extras.”

“Sis, why you being mean to my brother?” Harvey asked.

“Because your brother is an arrogant asshole, who’s also a stalker, and I don’t like his ass!”

“You do,” Messiah said with confidence.

“I’ve never wanted to spit in someone’s face as bad as I want to spit in yours.”

“You know what…” He stood abruptly, picked me up, and slung me over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes.

I instantly felt embarrassed because I had on a skirt with a thong underneath, and just knew my ass was all out in the air. “Stop. Put me down!” I yelled, trying to pull my skirt down.

“Shut up… I’ll be back in a minute,” he told his brothers, then headed out of the VIP area.

“That’s right, big bro! Get her ass together!” one of them yelled after us.

I lifted my head and stuck my middle finger up at them. As bad as I wanted to nut up, I kept calm as he hurried through the club and up the stairs, heading toward my office. When we got to the first entrance, he placed me on my feet as I jeered at him.

Pushing him, I screamed, “Are you fucking crazy! Don’t you ever do that shit again!”

“Shut up and walk, or I’m going to carry ya ass through the doors. Your choice.”

I chuckled and sized him up. “Oh, you think you got it like that, huh?”

“I know I do, and if you don’t start moving, I’m going to show you how muchI got it like that.”

The door opened as Sam, my security guard, stood looking at us, confused. “Everything good, boss lady?”

“What it’s gon’ be,boss lady?” Messiah asked.

I hesitated on what I wanted to do. On one hand, I wanted to shoot the shit out of him for thinking he could run me. But on the other hand, I liked the aggression and bossiness he was exuding. It turned me on to know there was someone out here who could match my energy.

I didn’t want to like this man, but there was something about him that had me ignoring Sam and moving my stupid feet toward my office. He followed me inside and locked the door behind him.

“Now, if you want to have a normal conversation, then talk like you got some sense. I let you pop all that shit since I met your mean ass, but what I need you to know is that you got me fucked up. Speak your mind, and make sure you talk to me nicely.”

I folded my arms across my chest as I glared at him. “Why the fuck did you ghost me after stalking me?”

“I didn’t ghost you. I tried to wake you up, but you wouldn’t budge. I left you my number to call me, but clearly, you don’t know how to use a phone.”

“I wasn’t about to call you after you left me in the wee hours of the morning. Fuck I look like acting like a thirsty broad.”

“The way you crashing the fuck out right now, I’d think you are a little dehydrated.”
