“What are you watching?”
I hold my phone out to show Ledger the video of his little sister, and I watch his proud smile grow at the sight. “Did your mom not send you one too?”
“I don’t know, probably. Look at her go! She was always so much better than me,” he says.
“Do you feel bad about not being there tonight?”
“Eh, maybe a little.” He shrugs. “Nothing those two ladies can't fix.”
I turn my attention in the direction of his gaze to find two hot blondes looking at us and giggling. Ledger waves and then motions for them to come join us. They stand to head our way, andgoddamn,they’ll certainly cure me of any guilt.
“You guys wanna dance?” the taller of the two asks, her eyes on Ledger.
“Lead the way,” he says, allowing her to pull him toward the dance floor as the other girl looks at me with a smirk on her face and her hand held out.
After what feels like hours of this girl grinding on me, my dick can’t take it anymore.Shit,I know if I’m on edge, Ledger’s insatiable ass is ready to go. I pull the girl against my body, making sure she feels how hard I am, and whisper in her ear, “You girls wanna get out of here?”
When she turns to her friend to make their plans, Ledger and I exchange a wink, and I’ve already forgotten what I was upset about as we all pile into the car, ready to continue our night of debauchery.
Chapter ten
16 years old
I’m waiting by the window, watching as Edward pulls up in his brand-new candy-red drop top to pick me up for my first date. We’re just going to a movie, but I’m an anxious wreck. As if getting asked out by a senior wasn’t a big enough deal, he’s the star quarterback for the high school’s football team. I’m living every girl’s dream right now.
Mom comes up beside me, and as if she can read my thoughts, she gives me the extra reassurance I need to get through this night. “Remember, sweetie,he’sthe lucky one. You go out there and make sure he knows it too.”
“Thanks, Mom,” I say as I wait for Edward to make his way to the door. “And thank you for making sure Dad would be gone when he got here. Can you imagine?”
We’re both laughing hysterically when the doorbell chimes. “Have fun! Don’t do anything I wouldn’t do,” Mom says with a wink as she walks away.
Thankfully, my confidence decides to join me again as I greet my date and follow him to the car.
There’s a reason the arguably most popular guy in school asked me out. Over the past couple of years, I’ve gone from a string bean to a curvy queen, or at least that’s what Mom calls me. My entire family has been feeding my ego since I was born, but Mom has really gone out of her way since I hit puberty to make sure I know my worth.
Our ride to the theater isn’t a long one, and the conversation is entertaining enough. I mean, he’s no Einstein, but he’s pretty enough to make up for it.
My eyes go wide as Edward gets us two tickets to the only horror movie currently playing. Ugh, I hate scary movies.
He must notice my hesitation as he’s handed the tickets because he leans down and whispers, “Don’t worry, baby. I’ll protect you.”
Oof. Entire. Body. On. Fire.
I’m not sure why I was worried about this movie because it’s been the perfect excuse for me to cuddle up to this hottie beside me. My body is reacting in ways I’ve only read about in magazines. I’m pretty sure this is what it feels like to be horny. I’m totally sure I want Edward to kiss me.
We’re the only people sitting in the back row of the mostly empty theater, so without anyone’s eyes on us, surely he’ll make a move soon.
I take advantage of all the theater classes I took as a child and grossly exaggerate my fear at the next jump scare.
“You okay?” he asks, looking down at where I’m nuzzled into his chest.
I look up at him with the biggest puppy dog eyes I can muster and nibble on my bottom lip. “It’s just so scary. Can you distract me until the monster is gone?”
The smirk on his face is sinful as he realizes my invitation. “Anything you want, baby.”
The kiss seems like it's taking place in slow motion as he lowers his face to mine until our lips meet.Omg, it’s happening. He’s leaning down to kiss me.
I use every tip and trick I’ve ever read and pour it into this kiss. I let our lips melt together for a moment before opening my mouth slightly to allow his tongue.Okay,thisis what it’s like to be horny.
