“You’re so fucking perfect, Doll,” he growled, dragging her roughly over his length. It only took two pumps before he hit his max, knuckles going white on the desk as he emptied down her throat.
Shit.Secondshow of the night, and no less good for it.
Finally, Thistle got to her feet, returning to the desk in front of him and setting Bunny on her lap.
“Doyou have a backup plan foryou know who?” she asked.
“Yes. The biggest hurdle is finding her. She’s in hiding—and I doubt she plans on coming out anytime soon.”
“That doesn’t sound promising,” Thistle muttered.
“Depends onyourfriends.”
She frowned. “What fr—? I mean… what does that mean?”
I looked at Knox.
Whatwashe talking about?
I knew the Misfits were helping, but what else was he up to?
“I’ll tell you if it works out. But I have to make a call—Rogue might be useful. If you want to go pick a movie, we can find you after if you aren’t… tied up?”
Thistle brightened, sliding off the desk.
“But that toy stays in until one of your Alphas says otherwise.”
She bit her lip, lust spiking in the bond as she looked back at me for a moment, then she leaned in, whispering something to Knox.
Knox reclined in his chair, folding his arms.
“Please, Daddy.”
“You’re no fun.”
“Fun?” She folded her arms. “I am your Omega. I am thefunnestfun you areevergonna get,” she said, mimicking a voice I’d never heard from her before.
Knox snorted, but he opened his desk drawer and pressed something into her hands.
Her grin could have lit up a whole Christmas tree as she stuffed the gift into Bunny’s pouch and pressed a kiss to his cheek. She came to give me a peck too, then rushed out of the room.
I found myself smiling again until I realised it was just me and Knox left.
“What’s that about her friends?” I asked.
“Someone was trying to make sure she was safe. Nothing nefarious.”
I nodded, processing that. Who was looking for her? She had mentioned to me once that she had older brothers that cared about her, but then from what I could tell, her blood family weren’t good people. Either way, I don’t know how they might come in useful to Knox.
“Why did you bring her in?” Knox asked.
I shrugged. “You’re better at boundaries. That’s what she needed.”
“Huh.” He considered that, not meeting my eyes now.
“What’s the meeting about?”
“There isn’t one. I wanted her to walk out at just the right moment…” He was watching his laptop screen with a grin. “Timed itperfectly. Ace just walked into her leaving.”
