She smiles at me, sighing gently. “Absolutely,” she says before she returns to me.

This time she doesn’t hold back. Before I know it, her tongue slips between my lips, and strawberries and cream bursts in my mouth. I give myself over to her so she can trace her tongue over mine and tug my lower lip between her teeth.

Pleasure swirls up through me, my lips tingling along with my cock as she takes control.

My fingers dig into her ass, and I grow hungry for more of her taste. She grinds her body against mine, and her little moans and groans are just as sweet as her lips.

“Everest,” she whispers, stroking my cheek, both of us sighing as my heart swells and I lean towards her. “I want to keep kissing you. Can I?”

She doesn’t even need to ask. With a surge of energy I’ve never experienced before, I shoot forward, pressing her ass to keep herfirm against my cock as I steal her lips, and I give in to my alpha desires as she moans for me.

Jaxx

I haven’t slept in days. We’ve been too busy traveling, and I haven’t had a single chance to see Harmony since she clung to me and scent marked me so sweetly, as if I was completely hers.

We didn’t fuck in my room. Actually, it was so vanilla it hurt; going to bed, chatting about nonsense, and drifting to sleep with a tipsy Harmony wrapped up in my arms.

I didn’t expect to tell her about Carl. It all came spilling out of me, but I held back the most important part. The part where he found his omega six months before his crash, and he changed so much it was incredible. Suddenly, everything he did was for his omega and his pack, and I wasn’t too shy to admit that jealousy ate me up.

But his omega asked him to drive carefully, and that's when he started to make mistakes.

There was something special about seeing him so happy, and I wanted it for myself.

And now I really understand. Because I swear I’ll waste away if I’m not with Harmony.

How the hell did Maddock last three years without her when they were still scent-matched?

And now Maddock keeps looking at me like I’ve betrayed him, even though I already consider him as pack.

I love to wind him up, but I don’t want to upset Harmony and ruin our chances of being together.

I could go up to him and just say ‘hey, so I might have hooked up with your ex/scent match and I hope you don’t take it personally but I’m pretty sure I made her come harder than you ever did.’ Plus, he really loves it when I shrug and leave in the middle of one of those serious conversations he’s always trying to have.

Everest is one of the few people who is happy to listen without ever really responding. Though ‘happy’ might be a stretch. I can rant for an hour, and he’ll just keep working. Though occasionally he will drop some kind of bomb that’s usually a subtle “can you leave now?" which I kind of like as well.

Plus, Everest is also probably the only person awake at the moment who will put up with my whiny ass. Which is why I’m trailing down to the Grace garage to rant at him for a while about Maddock. Because if I’m right, and Everest scent matched with her just as hard as I did, then he might get worked up as well.

I mean, yeah, Maddock has won all his races since Harmony perfumed, but he’s still driving like a wild stallion. It doesn’t matter how much Jacob lays into him, neither of us will confess that the source of the drama is the wonderful Harmony Grace.

But if I can wind Everest up enough that we can make a plan to sway Harmony over to us, then I’m all for talking his ear off.

As soon as I enter the garage and I see the lovely sight laid out before me like a buffet, it’s pretty clear my friend Everest doesn’t need any help.

Because he’s already making waves on the plan that he has no idea exists.

They’re laid out so prettily in front of me, so all I have to do is crouch down, and I can see every fine detail.

And goddamn, that wily jealousy that has become my new companion rolls around me all over again.

If there’s anyone I’m willing to step back for when it comes to her, it’s Everest. Because, out of all the people on the entire team, Everest deserves a real win.

I don’t want to interrupt. They both look so good that it’s like art in motion.

Harmony curves and rolls against him, writhing over him as she moans against his lips. And he’s just as eager, digging his hands hard against her ass, grinding his hips, his eyes wide in shock. I can’t see what’s happening underneath because of her skirt, but I pray he’s already inside her so we can speed things along.

My grin grows as I realize they’re gently rocking on Everest's roller.

Harmony's wild passion and Everest’s hesitation, her enthusiasm and his effort to hold on for dear life as she leads the party.
