“Don't worry, I've already taken care of it. He'll come soon,” Jaxx says, sweeping my hair away so he can kiss my forehead.
Maddock pulls me back to him, deepening his kiss. Now, all I have to do is wait for my pine and fresh rainwater alpha, and my nest will be complete.
Everest
Twenty minutes is a long time to wind myself up.
I’m fully aware that I’m an anxious person. But to receive a text message from Jaxx at 4 AM informing me that Harmony is waiting for me, and then nothing else except for a hotel name and room number, is enough to set me off.
I’ve had enough time spiraling over Harmony since her crash. There wasn't a chance to meet her again since she left the hospital because we were all so busy. Maddock and Jaxx were naturally as unnerved as I was by it all. Thankfully, we were all able to throw ourselves into work and try not to collapse over the fact that we almost lost our omega.
I’ve been so desperate to see her again that I jump into my truck the moment I receive the text. Which still smells of her slick because I don’t have it in me to throw away the roller.
I trust Jaxx a lot more since we both matched with Harmony, but it’s still hard to come to terms with the fact that we might separate once the championship is officially over.
So this might be my only chance to be with her.
I’d already decided I was going to ask her to exchange bites before the crash. But the biggest issue is that she’s Harmony Grace.
I’m nowhere near her level. I can’t imagine a world where someone as incredible as her would actually want to be in a pack with me. Jaxx and Maddock are completely understandable. They are both stars in their own right. They don’t need to try to look good for her when they’re already famous. Even one photo of the three of them together post-race shows how unworthy I am of her.
I’d hoped that she would return to the garage to visit me again, but I have to remember she’s recuperating after her crash. And it made me realize that we haven’t even exchanged phone numbers. I’m not even sure if she knows my last name.
She always comes to me, and this is the first time I’m taking a step towards her.
The biggest issue with the entire situation is that, as I reach the floor of the hotel they’re staying in, I’m really sure I’m not ready for whatever Jaxx has planned.
It’s enough time to grow stressed, and too short notice to prepare myself. My heart thumps so painfully loudly as I move towards room 609 that I can’t even hear my footsteps on the carpet.
As I stop outside the door, I take a breath. Who knows what lies on the other side? The only way to find out is to actually knock.
Except as soon as I raise my fist I hear the moans, and I flinch.
I’m sure Harmony is in there, along with two male voices that I hope are Jaxx and Maddock.
I’m not really ready for anything more than talking, but I want to see Harmony again so much that I take the risk and knock.
The moment I do, the silence falls on the other side. In seconds, the door is flung open and I’m hit by their three scents.
I nearly reel back at the strength of them, but the most potent is Harmony’s slick.
“It took you long enough!” Jaxx says, his hand shooting out, grabbing my arm, and yanking me inside. His white bath robe is doing a very poor job of hiding his erection.
I stumble, grasping him to stop myself falling over.
But he’s covered in so much slick that I nearly moan as his fingers spread it all over my jacket.
I look up as Jaxx lets the door swing shut behind me. My eyes instantly widen as I try to catch up with what I’m seeing.
Having sex in the garage was such an intense experience for me that it took nearly five days for me to stop drifting around in a state of shock.
I wasn’t even sure if I could look at another roller again without my cock reacting, or go anywhere near Maddock’s car.
So, it’s very hard to try to come to terms with the fact that Harmony is on all fours on the bed, facing me and Jaxx, her face contorted in pleasure as Maddock thrusts into her from behind.
I freeze, watching the pair of them as Jaxx stands beside me with both hands on his hips, proudly observing them.
“Don’t they look great?” he asks, throwing me a wink.
