He stroked into her twice more, then threwhis head back and roared. He shook against her.
Their heavy breaths punctuated the silence.Their skin was hot and sweaty, slicked together. Spent and quaking, minutes passed or maybe hours.
“Wow.” Her lips met his and lingered astingles danced through her.
He chuckled. “That’s the understatement ofthe year.” He kissed her. “Let’s clean up and grab a bite to eatdownstairs. Then we’ll do that again.”
She sure the hell wanted to do that again. And again.
Chapter Six
Rex rested his palms on the black granitebathroom countertop and dropped his head between his shoulders. Heinhaled deeply.
God damn. That may have been the hottest sexhe’d ever had.
Taking Anna in that garter, stockings, boots, and nothing else was like starring in a personalizedfantasy. His dick twitched at the memory of slamming into heragainst the wall. She was so tight. So hot. Her moans and whimpershad escalated his desire to an unprecedented level.
He exhaled. It hadn’t been weeks or monthssince he’d had sex, but it’d felt like it after being with her. Hewas so amped up.
He needed to pull himself together. Hecouldn’t be inside her for the next twelve hours. They needed toeat. Sleep. Figure out their flight plans for the morning. Plus, hedidn’t want it to seem like that was all he was interested in evenif his dick believed that to be true. It wasn’t. That, in ofitself, left him a little uneasy. He’d been so good at enjoying sexwith a woman and leaving his emotions at the door. In fact, hehadn’t any emotions at all. Until now.
Something about her tugged at hisheartstrings. Made him want to ask for more than tonight.
He turned the faucet on and splashed coldwater on his face. He cleaned himself up and zipped up his jeans. One last glance in the mirror. He combed his fingers through hissex-mussed hair. Deep breath.
Walking out of the bathroom, he stilled.
Anna stood at the window.
His heart squeezed at the sight of her inhis shirt. She practically swam in the navy-blue fabric that fellto her mid-thigh. The long sleeves covered her hands. But there wassomething intimate about her in it. She held the sheer curtain backand peered out at the heavy snowfall.
The word “mine” popped into his head and itdidn’t refer to his shirt. His skin tingled.
He shifted and leaned his shoulder againstthe wall, watching her. Without her boots, she couldn’t be morethan five feet five inches. Her toned legs showed off her Floridasun-kissed skin. The urge to run his hands up her thighs had himflexing his fingers.
Anna turned her head and smiled. A smalldimple deepened in her cheek. “What if we order room service?” Awicked gleam flickered in her eyes.
He returned her smile. A fluttery feelingtook flight in his stomach. “I like you in my shirt.” He pushed offthe wall and strolled toward her. Her magnetic pull was more thanhe could resist. He played with the hem of his shirt, skating afinger over her thigh. “Likereallylike you in it.”
She blushed. “Is that a yes on room servicethen?”
He bent and kissed her lips. “Are yousure?”
“Positive.” She spread her hands over hisabs and pushed her palms up his chest.
Warmth spread everywhere she touched. Hepressed his lips to hers again before reaching for the menu on thedesk next to them. “Then room service it is.”
She ripped the folded menu card from hishand and jumped on the king-sized bed. “Oh, the black-and-blueburger looks good.” She kneeled and waved the card at him.
He loved the fact that she wasn’t dawdlingover the salad section. Not that there was anything wrong withsalads. But most women he’d been around seemed to feel he’d thinkless of them for ordering something more substantial. “A burger,eh? That does sound good.” He plucked the menu from her and scannedthe selections.
“I haven’t eaten since lunch and that wasrushed. So, I’m starving.” She dropped on her back on the bed andpushed up on her elbows.
He looked at her. Her chestnut locks fannedover her shoulders and the white bedspread. She’d bent her knees, giving him a peek at her naked apex underneath. He swallowed hardand his cock surged to life. Then met her gaze.
“I’ll place the order.” He turned to thephone beside the bed and called room service. He ordered twoburgers, a side of fries to share and two bottles of beer. “I thinkthey’re backed up with the influx of people. Said it would bethirty to forty-five minutes.”
She shrugged. “It’s okay. I’ll survive.”
