Lionel’s gaze immediately goes wary.

“What is it, Lils? You know you can tell me anything.”

I stare at the handsome man, losing my train of thought for a moment, because even dressed in casual clothes, Lionel isgorgeous. He’s got a blue cashmere sweater on, paired with dark jeans and dark shoes. His black hair is brushed in a wave off of his high forehead, and his chiseled profile is as harsh and unrelenting as ever.Still, I’m not afraid of Daddy because it’s his job to look out for me, and I know Lionel will do everything in his power to protect me and keep me safe.So with a smile, I turn to him while clasping my hands demurely in my lap.

“Well, I wanted to review our birth control options for tonight.”

Lionel’s blue eyes flash.

“You’re on birth control, Lily. It’s important when fucking three men.You told me you were on the pill the last time we talked.”

I hold a hand up, my features suddenly serious.

“Yes, but Daddy, things change.I went to the gynecologist recently, and he took me off my old medication. It was giving me cramps, and making me feel bloated and gross, so the doc prescribed a new one in its place. But the problem is I don’t start the new one right away – it starts next Monday, which means that I’m potentially fertile right now.”

Sheer panic washes over Lionel’s handsome features and then he jumps up from the couch.

“I’ll call them and tell them the party’s off,” he growls in a rush.“Where’s my phone?Fuck.”

“No, no,” I say, pulling at his arm.“We can work something out.Let’s not act hastily.”

Lionel turns and looks down at me, his blue eyes glinting with disbelief.

“Work something out?”he repeats.“Are you insane, Lil?There’s no way you’ll be at the party tonight if you’re not on birth control.Honey, let me be straight with you: this is a gang bang and Scott, Cross, and Barrett areveryvirile men. They’re in their forties, but believe you me, a man’s virility doesn’t decline at this age.It takes until eighty or so, and even at that age, men have fathered children.No.No way.You won’t be attending the party tonight,” he finishes in a flat statement.

But I won’t give up.I tug at his big hand, and succeed in urging him to sit once again.

“No, it’s fine,” I say in a soft voice.“We’ll use other forms of birth control, okay?Would that work?”

“Like a diaphragm?”Lionel practically spits, his handsome features twisted with rage.“Those are total bullshit, Lils. You know that. And spermicide is no match for the sperm of three men. You’ll be knocked up within minutes if this party goes through.”

I take a deep breath because obviously, the man of the house is riled up.But I remind myself it’s because Lionel cares about me, and wants to be sure I’m protected. That’sthe cause of the angry bear act.

“Calm down, Daddy.I’m not suggesting we go bareback or use diaphragms.I just thought we could go a more traditional route,” I murmur.

Lionel’s black brows shoot up.

“Meaning...?”

“Condoms,” I say in a firm tone.“People use them all the time, and they prevent almost one hundred percent of pregnancies if used correctly.”

Lionel stares at me, his black brows beetling together with disgust.

“You must be fucking kidding me.”

“No, I’m not,” I say in a soft voice.“Why?”

He lets out an outraged snort.

“Those fuckers aren’t going to use condoms!Scott, Cross and Barrett haven’t used condoms in thirty years, and they’re not going to start now.Hell, it’s possible that dipshit Cross hasneverused a rubber in his life.”

That statement takes me by surprise.

“But how did you guys avoid pregnancy then?Getting a girl, pregnant, I mean.”

Lionel stares at me, his gaze harsh.

“You really want to know?”
