“Swallow it,” Markus orders hotly in my ear. Two fingers scoop the trails of cum that have fallen out of the corners of my mouth and shoving them inside so truly no drop is wasted.

Adam withdraws, and I gulp down their cum as Markus yanks me to my feet while Adam stuffs himself back into his pants just as The Eye moves again.

“You’re a fucking goddess, woman.” Adam looks at me with amazement, like I’m some deity he’d gladly exchange his life for, as his chest heaves with exertion.

“Our goddess,” Markus says gently in my ear. “I love you so fucking much.” He punctuates his vow with a deep kiss that takes my breath away.

“I love you too,” I say smiling once he lets me breathe. “Both of you.” I turn my attention to Adamm and smile softly as I cup his chin.

“I love you,” he tells me and my heart flips again.

I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of hearing that.

“Areyou sure you don’t want to go hang out at the hotel? We’re just going to be running through the concert for lights and sound checks.” Reis cups my jaw, holding my gaze as he very obviously frets over me. Worrying about the jetlag that hit me like a ton of bricks after our exciting afternoon.

“No, no, I’ll be okay.” I wave him off. “Do you really think I’m going to miss your first sound check of the tour? Get the whole concert sung to me like I’m the only one here? No, not missing that.”

Reis looks at me like he’s not convinced, his eyes searching mine before turning quickly, abruptly, and yelling for someone.

“Paul!” he yells. Successfully summoning some tall scrawny guy with glasses, brown hair and a band tee with Chucks on his feet, and a huge iPad in his hand. This Paul has some real busy, golden retriever energy.

“Paul, my man,” Reis says, “Could you please find a cot, a pillow, and some blankets and have it put in our dressing room, please? Our girl needs a nap, and while I’d rather her go to the hotel room so she can actually sleep,” he looks at me pointedly, “she’s decided that she’d rather be here. Can’t say I’m too upset about it.” Reis smirks softly, keeping his hand on my chin reverently.

“Yeah, Reis, no problem.” Paul nods, and scatters.

“There,” Reis says with a smile, and I shake my head.

“I could’ve just curled up into that couch in the dressing room.”

“That nasty looking yellow thing? Who knows whose fucked on that thing, thrown up on it, pissed on it from being so fucked up. No,” his voice snaps like a whip, but I know it’s not at me. It’s at him trying to protect and provide for me. “No, Mel. You’re our girl, and you’re going to be treated like it. First things first; food, then sleep.”

“I ate with you guys,” I wave him off, but his hands drop low to my waist as he pulls me to him.

“That was over an hour ago. And you didn’t have enough. Eat, please.” Reis looks at me intensely and makes my heart skip a beat.

“Okay, okay,” I nod, putting my hands on his biceps as his hands find a comfortable spot on my lower back. “I’ll eat, and take ashortnap, okay? I want to see you guys playing from the crowd again. I couldn’t exactly enjoy it much last time seeing as I got trampled halfway through.”

Reis' jaw sets to the side and his eyes narrow in a look that promises retribution and pain for the people that did that to me, even though he can’t do anything about it now. I chuckle, and put my hand on his chest, twisting my fingers into the soft fabric there.

“Hey now, if that hadn’t happened I might not have found my way back to you guys again,” I say softly, leaning up to kiss his jawline as he softens.

“I guess,” he grumbles. “I swear, Mel, one person. One fucking person touches you, and I’ll kill them.”

“I understand, you big protective teddy bear,” I laugh, pulling him to me, and giving him a kiss that hopefully smooths those worry lines on his forehead. Maybe even makes the promise of revenge vanish, and brings him right back to me.

“Reis!” Louis yells angrily from across the stage, snapping his fingers at Reis like he’s calling a dog. “You’re on in five.” Louis looks at me up and down in thinly shrouded disgust and says to Reis pointedly, “Don’t be late.”

I don’t understand what I’ve done to garner this man’s hatred, but it’s palpable. And all my guys can feel it too.

“He’s one poor word choice away from being fired,” Reis grumbles.

I shake my head and lean up to kiss him quickly. They can’t do that. Louis has helped them get here, he knows the industry, the guys trust him professionally. They have to stay the course, and that might mean listening to that fuckface talk or look at me shitty.

I’ll deal with it if it keeps their standing at their management firm well.

“Go sing to me, Mathers.” I push him towards the sound tech and head off to find some food.

Just like I promised.
