“I’m three minutes from there. Hold on.”Kieron says roughly and I can hear him on the phone with someone else relying the information.

Joseph cocked his head at me with a surprised expression on his face. “Yes,” he says quietly.

We reach the corner of the intersection and Joseph stops, pushing me slightly into the dark alley. The impact of the brick wall making me grunt from the force.

“You’re so fucking hot.” Joseph slurs, his hand going to my ass and his other to my boob. He’s kneading both like dough and it hurts like hell.

It takes everything in me to not knee him in the balls and punch him in the throat like Kieron taught me.

“Thank you,” My voice cracks and I pray that he thinks it’s because I’m turned on.

“That fucker.”Kieron snarls as Joseph’s lips hit my throat. It feels all wrong, but I can’t leave. I can’t move. My whole-body tenses and I feel like I’m back with Luca. Just stuck, letting him use my body because the alternative is worse.

This man is drunk as hell, I could just push him away. Maybe he’d forget me and just fuck up the transfer all on his own. But I can’t move.

“Baby, yes.” He moans, which is cringing because I’m barely touching him. His hands are, however, are touching me everywhere. My ass, my chest, and then one hand snaked up the front of my dress.

And that was it. I couldn’t take it anymore.

I went to shove him off me but was met with empty air.

Appearing like a tall, tattooed knight-in-shining-armor in all black and leather, Kieron was standing over Joseph. Kieron had gotten to him and pulled him from my body laying him out so hard his head hit the concrete.

“What the fuck?” Joseph yells as he scrambles to get up.

“Don’t you touch her.” Kieron said, putting his body in front of mine like a wall of muscle and protection.

“I wasn’t doing anything she didn’t want. Fuck, man.” Joseph tried to stand his ground, but you could see in his eyes as he looked at Kieron that there was no way he was going to be able to take him. I prayed that he was drunk enough that he didn’t notice it was the Second of the Irish Mafia was threatening him and protecting me. If he did, it would be just a small leap to get that Jessica Destoni is really Talia Jones and there is a mole somewhere in there with the Garzinos.

“Piss off!” Kieron hollers, pushing Joseph back roughly.

“Oh, that’s how it is, huh? You beg for it and then don’t give it up? What a bitch.” Joseph spits in my direction and I flinch. “Fuck you! Fuck you both!” He shoves Kieron back, pushing him into me and that’s the last straw for Kieron.

He lunges forward, grabbing Joseph by the shirt and punches him once in the stomach and uppercuts him in the jaw, throwing his head back. Joseph goes down and Kieron stands over him menacingly.

“You sad sack of shit. Pathetic.” And he punches the drunk man in the face, knocking him out.

I knew what tonight was going to entail for me, what I was going to have to do and face, but that didn’t mean that I wasn’t going to have a reaction. Being touched like that, after surviving what I had, was too much. I felt my hands shaking as I watch Kieron make sure that Josephs not getting up before he turns to me.

I felt dirty still, feeling the wrong set of hands on me and touching me places I didn’t want them to, but watching Kieron knock him out felt pretty damn good.

“You okay?” Kieron cradled my face, looking for his answer.

“I will be. I just want a shower and to go home.” I answer truthfully.

“We’re almost done. I wasn’t expecting him to actually take you here.”

“Me neither.”

“I have a group inbound to tag the truck and make sure the innocent get home safe.” Kieron says, looking at his phone and placing a call.

“We’re here, where’s the squad?” His business tone is clipped, straight to the point and undeniably sexy to me.

“Hurry up. There’s no time to waste, it should be arriving in two minutes according to our intel.” He orders and cancels the call. “We need to get to a secure position, if anyone sees me…”

If anyone sees him and recognizes him, everything is toast. “Let’s go.”

Kieron and I hustle down the dark alley as he surveys were to go, we need to be able to see what happens.
