I could care less about that old geezer and his feelings about swearing right now. Kieron’s response was so him, and so enthusiastic, I couldn’t help but giggle. I didn’t even wait until the judge said we were officially husband and wife; I wrapped my hand around the nape of his neck and pulled his mouth to mine.

“I now pronounce you husband and wife. Congratulations.” The judge said hurriedly and the clash of his gavel sounded through the room. But the kiss didn’t end.

I tried to pull back, but Kieron was faster. His hands wrapped around my waist, pulling my body close to his and deepening the kiss as he lifted me slightly.

“We are very busy today, thank you for coming and congratulations again.” The judge said, his tone sharp and very obviously trying to get rid of us.

Kieron pulled back, putting me back down on my feet but keeping me still in his arms. A large, tattooed hand cupped my cheek, and his dark eyes held mine. The smile on his face was just so soft, so serene and excited that my heart skipped a beat.

“To the beginning of forever.” He whispers and kisses me lightly on the lips.

“Sounds amazing.”

After signing another paper, I am officially Talia Tavish and I love it. And from how Kieron’s touching me, he loves it just as much.

He won’t stop touching me; caressing me, placing sweet kisses here and there. He’s touching me like I’m precious, but also like giving me his last name awakened something feral that he was barely able to hang onto his awareness.

“I need to get you home.” He says roughly in my ear, slapping my ass lightly as we walk out the doors of the courthouse and pulls me quickly to his car.

“Yes, please.” I smile and climb into the passenger seat quickly. When he slides into the front seat I lean over, pushing my front into his side as he starts the car. The rumbling of the engine adding another level of anticipation. “Sir.” I whisper in his ear, and drag my teeth over his earlobe.

Kieron groans, his chest rumbling under my hand splayed across his chest. “This is going to be the quickest drive of your life, wife.” He shoves the car in reverse, whipping the car out of the parking spot with a squeal.

I smirked, biting my lip before throwing my head back and laughing as he drove way over the speed limit to get us back to our marital bed.

Our hands wouldn’t stop roaming all over each other. One of his hands held the steering wheel and gripped it tightly as he drove one-handed.

I didn’t know that could be so fucking sexy.

Overall, Kieron was gorgeous to look at, had a heart of gold and was willing to do whatever it took to keep me happy and healthy. And by some luck of fate, I’d locked him down for life. I felt giddy. The hand that wasn’t holding the steering wheel was locked around my upper thigh, his thumb sliding over my skin as his fingers gripped into my skin erotically.

I was trailing my fingers up and down the forearm that was holding me. I didn’t want to be separated from him in the slightest either.

We drove in charged silence for a while, everything passing by the window quickly – too quickly – before Kieron slowed down, parking the Mustang a few blocks away from the house. Just in case.

He ran around to my side and opened the car door, holding out his hand for me to take.

“Let’s get home. We need to seal this marriage deal, wife.”

He leaned over and picked me up, bridal style, and made a dash for the house. My laughter ringing through the sea air around us and the sand flying up behind us with each step he took.

Chapter Thirty

Kieron

Fuck, if this was how married life was going to be, I would have proposed the moment I met her.

Our breathing was erratic after we finished, bringing each other to orgasm for another time since we arrived home. It was like the gloves, if we had had any kind on before, were completely pulled off. She was insatiable, a sexual goddess come for me.

I couldn’t get enough of her.

I held onto her, holding her close while our skin cools and our breathing regulates, watching her eyes flutter shut. I need water, I need food, so instead of resting I waited for her to fall asleep and I snuck out to get water.

“Don’t leave.” She whispered as I opened the door as quietly as I could. “Please.”

“I’m just getting water, baby. I’ll be right back.” She moans softly and steals my pillow to hold against her chest. I can’t help but smile. I would climb right back in as soon as she said please, but I needed to take care of her. Of both of us.
