“Aww baby,” she gushed as she leaned in to kiss me. “I love you.”
“I know, I love you too, lift up a little bit.”
She lifted a little and eased down onto my dick. Yeah, a nigga made the best decision I could have ever made the day that I’d met my wife. If God said that today was my day to come home, I’d legit die one of the happiest men on earth.
Epilogue: One Year Later
“Idon’t think he likes having those boxing gloves on, baby,” Kehlani said from behind me.
We were in the entertainment room of our house doing a photoshoot for Legend’s birthday. Legend was our one year old son. I told his mama that I only made real niggas.
“I don’t like wearing mine either, Mommy,” Jocey cried.
“Aww man, baby girl, come on, I need y’all just to get a couple more pictures for me,” I said with a playful pout on my face.
“These are for boys though.”
“What I tell you?” I asked her, referring to the conversation we had this morning when I first showed her the outfit that she had wear for the pictures.
The shoot was all three of the kids plus Lani and I dressed in boxing gear for our baby boy’s first birthday. It had started off good, but that was short lived.
“That I’m a real nigga.” She simpered.
“Aight then, just a couple more.”
“Javyous, stop talking to them like that.” Lani laughed. “Jocelyn, don’t say nigga.”
“Yes, ma’am.”
Kehlani went over to get Legend situated again while I helped Jocey. Si was chilling like he always was. He was the easiest out of all three of them because his other two siblings were spoiled as hell.
“They look so cute,” my mother gushed when we stepped away so the photographer could get started again.
“I know, this was all my idea.”
“Tell another lie,” Lani joked, pinching my side.
“Chill, I did give input.”
“That’s about all you did,” she replied, rolling her eyes before addressing my mother. “Is everything set up in the kitchen?”
“Yeah, baby, and the entertainment is ready outside.”
Kehlani had gone all out for Legend’s first birthday with a circus theme. Anything that you could imagine to be at a circus, we had at our fucking house. Thank God we’d moved our asses to Chandler Heights because the townhouse wouldn’t stand a chance.
“The petting zoo is the cutest thing ever, Lani,” Celeste said when she joined us. “Aww look at my baby’s little boxing gloves, he is just too freaking cute.”
“He needs a playmate,” Lani suggested, nudging her best friend.
“Welp, you and your husband fuck like rabbits anyways, so y’all better get on it.”
“And that’s my cue,” my mama said as she walked away with her index finger in the air.
“Oh my God, I’m sorry, Ms. Phyllis,” Celeste shouted at her back.
My eyes were trained on my wife who was grinning hard as hell at her best friend.
“I ain’t opposed to that,” I said, grabbing her attention.
