Her phone beeped on her dressing table.

I can’t wait to see you tonight.I love you x

Jan placed a hand to her chest and smiled.Morgan had worked until five, and though she would usually head right over here the moment her shift ended, she had opted to get ready at the bar.It would have only meant less time for her to get ready otherwise.

Jan quickly snapped a picture of herself in the mirror and attached it to her reply.

I can’t wait to see you either. Was this the dress you wanted me to wear?I love you, too x

Jan knew she was teasing Morgan, but Morgan would thank her for it.She had five nights ago when Jan had texted her filthy pictures, and this was tame in comparison.Verytame.

Fuck, babe. You look amazing.I can’t wait to taste you later. You’ll be all mine once the night is over x

A thrill rushed up Jan’s spine as she took her bottom lip between her teeth. She hadn’t imagined she would fall in love with a woman fifteen years younger than her, but it worked. It worked so well that neither of them had thought about the age gap for a single moment. If Jan could catch the attention of Morgan, then she was doing something right.Wasn’t that the only thing that mattered?Age was…irrelevant.

She lowered herself to the edge of her bed and sent off a quick response to Morgan.

Maybe I’ll make you wait until tomorrow x

She wouldn’t dream of it, not in a million years. But Jan had realised that the more she teased Morgan, the hotter the sex was when they eventually found themselves alone together.

And maybe I’ll fuck you behind the nearest closed door if I feel like it…

Morgan ended the message with a smirking emoji, but that only left Jan feeling incredibly aroused as she sat here waiting to call a cab.Usually, she would brush Morgan’s suggestion off, but tonight she couldn’t be sure that she wouldn’t allow Morgan a moment like that. Her body generally told her what she wanted and when, and in this moment, it wanted Morgan and her delectable mouth. She wanted those lips to blaze a path of fire over every inch of her skin. And that tongue, oh that tongue was capable of so much.Far too much for Jan to handle at times.

You tell me when and where and I’ll make sure I’m soaking wet for you x

Okay, that was enough.Jan would never make it to the bar if she continued this back and forth. Her legs simply wouldn’t carry her down the stairs and into the cab if she didn’t put a stop to the flirting she’d foolishly started. She makes you feel good.So what?

Jan’s phone pinged in her hand again.

You should come over a little earlier than planned.I could take care of you before we even head out.It would be my absolute pleasure x

Could Jan do that?Of course she could. But she also knew that the moment Morgan got her naked, any plans to head out with Gillian and Finn would be long forgotten.Once Morgan’s skin was pressed to hers, she wouldn’t surface from Morgan’s flat for at least an entire twenty-four hours.

Tame your thoughts, baby. We’ll have one another all alone at the end of the night.Makes it all the more exciting. You and I both know that x

Jan locked her phone and rose to her feet. She needed to finish getting ready.Jan didn’t do late arrivals. She wasalwayson time. And if she was late, Gillian would make sure she knew all about it.

For the firsttime in so many years, Morgan was ready for a night out on the town with the woman she loved, and their friends, and she was going to make the most of it.She had spent at least twenty minutes in the shower trying to recall the last time she’d done something like this, and sadly, it had been too long.At least five years, she had guessed by the time her skin had wrinkled, and she realised she was standing staring at the tiles in her shower cubicle.

There had also been a moment when she’d brushed a tear from her cheek, feeling incredibly blessed to be in the position she was in now.Life with Jan was flourishing before Morgan’s eyes and there wasn’t a thing she could do about it.She didn’twantto do anything about it.

She’s so fucking beautiful.

Morgan smiled as she turned out the light in her bedroom—the very room that had a constant faint linger of Jan’s perfume—and fixed her watch to her wrist.Jan would be downstairs waiting, and Morgan didn’t want her to wait a second longer. That woman didn’t deserve to sit alone on a stool at the bar.No, she deserved every last ounce of Morgan’s attention. And tonight, it would besolelyfocused on her.Whether Gillian and Finn were in the room with them or not was irrelevant.Morgan only saw Jan.Morgan only cared about Jan.It was that simple. But she knew Finn understood better than anyone when it came to love and the idea of Morgan never wanting to leave Jan’s side.Finn was disgustingly in love with Gillian, and Morgan was on her way to feeling the very same thing she’d spent so long teasing Finn about.

She checked herself over in the mirror on the chimney stack and nodded slowly.Morgan had managed to get into town this morning before the bar opened at midday so she could pick up a new outfit. That was just another thing she wasn’t used to doing. She rarely bothered to splash out on herself…what had been the point in the past?

A key in her flat door had Morgan spinning around in front of the TV.It would be Jan, nobody else had access up here, but it only made Morgan’s pulse quicken.Jan had her one and only spare key.God, she loved that more than she probably should. It was only a key, after all.

No, it’s not only a key. It’s a symbol of what you share with one another.

Morgan cleared the sudden emotion from her throat and beamed a smile at Jan.“Sorry, babe.I was about to head down.I didn’t mean to keep you waiting.”

Jan shoved her key into her clutch bag and crossed the room.“I’ve only just arrived.”Her gaze swept up Morgan’s body, leaving a trail of heat behind.“You lookverygood tonight.”
