“Don’t tempt me.” Casey begins removing his shirt. “Tell me now, cupcake. What did you mean by sending that video?”
“I was just enjoying what you baked.”
“I want you to enjoy everything I have to offer you.”
“What all do you have to offer, Casey?” Feeling more bold than ever, I say. “Show me.”
He falls to the floor and crawls toward me. “I’d love nothing more.”
“I should tell you. There’s only ever been one other partner.”
“Well, if I have it my way, I’ll be your last partner.” Casey murmurs against my lips.
“That could be taken in a sinister way…”
“For anyone who tries to take what’s mine, yes.”
Casey’s lips lock onto mine. We waste no more time with words. Our hands are a frenzy as we begin removing clothing. He picks up the cupcake and trails the icing along my nipples and between my legs. Then he tosses it to the side – which is kind of a shame because it’s a really damn good cupcake. But all of that is forgotten when I feel little flicks from his tongue against my clit. I moan and he keeps doing it. Harder and harder. Sucking and licking. He keeps bringing me to the edge to only pull away and focus on another area. Teasing and taunting my body. His body slides up to lick the icing from my painfully hard nipples. “This is incredible,” I moan.
“Yes, you are.” Casey tells me.
I feel so worshipped. He whispers the wordminelike a chant. I’ve never had anyone be so attentive. Then I feel him line between my legs. I sigh as he presses himself against me. Our eyes lock as he silently waits for permission. I nod and he thrusts himself fully inside me. We both chase our orgasm. I’ll not be able to walk away from this man physically or mentally. I knew he’d be my ruin, but in this moment, I can’t find the will to care. I only want to be his. Forever.

When I exit the bathroom Casey is holding his phone and his face looks stricken. “You did this?” He holds up the video that I posted that has now gone viral. But he doesn’t meet my eyes. He looks dazed.
“I just wanted to help you.” I whimper which gets his attention.
He stares off. “I’ve always been different. I like being different. I don’t want to be another hunk who uses his muscles to gain popularity.”
“Like it or not your physic gets people’s attention long enough for them to listen to the rest of what you have to say. Your popularity gives you a platform to make a difference.”
“But that’s not how I wanted to gain attention. I want to earn respect.”
“Do you respect anyone any less because they’re attractive.”
“That’s not what I mean!” He growls in frustration. “I’ve taken beatings from bullies. I’ve taken ridicule from trolls. But I didn’t think you’d betray me like this. You’d take the one thing I told you I hated and use it against me. My biggest insecurity and fear, the one thing I’ve been fighting against, and do it anyways.” I hate the way his voice cracks. The pain in his eyes. I did that. I did this to him.
“I’m – ”
“Don’t say your sorry. Don’t.” He slowly nods. “I still stand by what I said before. You’ll always have my support… but you’ve lost my trust. Let’s walk away with whatever dignity we have left.”
He turns to walk away but I chase after him. I wrap my arms around him and press my face into his chest. “Please, Casey. I’m so sorry.”
It’s true. I’ve never felt such regret in my life. I feel it to my bones.
Chapter 15
Casey
Because of Lisa, I’m bigger and more famous than I ever thought possible. My agent has been calling me nonstop. My accounts have all blown up. But as what? A thirst trap. I’m not knocking it. If that’s how someone becomes famous and they’re happy with it, to each to their own. But that’s not what I wanted. She knew this which is what hurts the most. Of course now she can have any client she wants. My uncle is begging her to return with all sorts of promises.
I have spoken to her in a week. I took the next flight home and left. We weren’t a real relationship anyways. I was a means to her success and she found it. We both did, I guess. I don’t feel very successful. What is success? Health? Money? Stability?
Today I certainly don’t feel like I’m succeeding. I feel like I’ve failed miserably because I thought I’d found someone who wanted something real, but it was fake. All of it.
