The way his mouth purses is beautiful, and he meets my gaze with a deep, simmering heat. His nostrils flare. “If you’re going to live under our roof, you’re going to have to obey our rules.”

I cock my hip to the side, hands at my waist to make the hem of my shirt ride up. I’m barely covered, and the way his jaw tenses and his eyes dip, I’m feeling the slightest bit of power shift.

“What rules?”

Grant steps out from the doorway, closing the distance between us. His mouth presses against the shell of my ear. “Go to your room, baby girl.”

Fuck, did he have to sound so hot saying that?

My nipples pebble under the shirt, and I barely catch his gaze dropping to take them in. Biting back my smile, I wait for him to retreat and revel in his nearness for a few long seconds before he backs away.

I hesitate, lingering until he shoots me a look, so I take slow steps across his floor. He doesn’t push me to go any faster, but he’s on my tail the entire way. A step behind me.

Grant follows me into my room, and I spot new items on my bed. It’s a set of pajamas.

I spin in place and lift a brow at him.

“New rules. That’s what you’re going to wear to bed. You have six other sets in the top left drawer of your dresser.”

I cross my arms under my chest.

“You’re going to be in bed before eleven. No more wandering around in our personal space unless you’re invited.”

I finger the fabric of the sleep set on my bed. It’s a light blue fabric with little flowers on it.

Grant steps closer, and I can feel every inch of his presence.

“You’ll make my coffee every morning and have it delivered to me by six-thirty. Then, you’ll kneel beside my desk, hands in your lap, until I give you permission to move.”

I lift my gaze back to him, not bothering to hide how much I enjoy the idea of that.

“Then, I’ll approve what you’ll be wearing to the office, where you will behave.”

“I always behave.”

Another step closer, which forces me to tip my chin up to keep his gaze. “No bending over to show off your ass to the men. No leaning in to hang your breasts in the employees’ faces. No winking at them as you saunter by. No more distracting them.”

“So I’m a distraction?”

His pupils dilate.

“You’re not going to snoop around anymore. No more sneaking into the file room, no more digging in the computer system, no more being left to your own devices.”

Of course, he doesn’t address my question.

“You will eat lunch in the building. Preferably with Sunny.”

“Because you have no respect for my personal space or privacy.”

Those nostrils flare again, and god that mouth. I desperately want to lean up and bite him.

“You’ll come home straight after work in a company car and remain there until it’s time to go back to work.”

“Any more rules for when I get home? Should I shower immediately? Get dressed in my new little girl jammies and…”

A final step, and he’s so close that I’m trembling from the restraint.

“You’ll do as we say when you’re in our house.”
