Come and find me.I beamed the thought straight to Pinky, and he literally pointed in my direction. Sunny’s muscles flexed as he rammed into the Aavvee, knocking a group of them out of the way. A few smashed into the warriors who slept in their charging stations. They awoke with resounding roars, looking down in horror at the devices violating them.
All hell broke loose.
Sunny scaled the wall, digging his hands into the stone to get to me. His massive legs propelled him halfway up. He looked maniacal, incensed, and ready to take me apart.
I should have been terrified. I trembled, and my heart raced, but I didn’t stop touching myself. My thighs tightened with each lunge forward. And still, I waited because… There was nowhere else I wanted to be.
CHAPTER 20
Xefe reported tothe donation lab, as he did every afternoon. Same time. Same place. Today, he felt uneasy. Hermosa’s words repeated in his mind, calling his whole existence into question.
Her response, along with the other earthers, was staggering. They believed cell removal was a violation? He donated freely, yet… had he ever been given a choice? The process was painful because his rod would not appear until he found hisalmax, his mate. He’d never questioned the agony of using needles and suction devices to manipulate his body.
Enough. He shoved Hermosa’s words away and stepped into the retrieval unit, preparing for the process. Looking around the room, everything appeared the same, but somethingfeltdifferent. Like a soft touch grazing his skin. Sometimes the Aavvee scientists took a special interest, intensifying the retrieval process, but none of them approached. Why couldn’t he get rid of the feeling of being watched?
Hermosa. He couldn’t stop thinking about the frustrating earther. Her impossibly soft skin, gleaming as she mastered the course. Her smart mouth infuriated and intrigued him. Her demands—how she pushed him. Since her arrival, the earther remained permanently fixed in his mind. He didn’t want to associate her with this place, the pain he was about to feel, but he couldn’t stop craving her. A faint smell caught his attention, but once again, it proved elusive. Where was it?
Sunny.A whispered word in the deepest part of his mind, his soul, made something inside him roar to life. Her essence washed over him. He could feel her and it made him…need.
One of the whirling suction devices descended. Xefe grabbed it and yanked it from the wall. All of his thoughts centered on Hermosa. She was here. It had been her eyes, her scent, invading his body.
Aavvee circled, but they dared not advance. He could end them all with one blow. He must find her! Trusting his instincts, he searched.There.Above him. The little earther watched. Her eyes were half-lidded and she licked her plump lips as if overtaken by the same feelings that ricocheted inside him.
When the Aavvee came closer, Xefe shoved past them and grabbed his staff. He leaped toward the wall and ascended. Sections of rock flaked off the dusty stone. He dug his claws in deep and quickly scaled the lab. In seconds, he was face to face with the delicate earther—only a thick pane of glass separating them.
Hermosa gasped, her hand under her dress as she leaned against the wall. Her head was thrown back, her chest heaving. She was… pleasuring herself.
He wanted it to behis handbetween her thighs, discovering her secrets. What had she done to him? Xefe roared and slammed his staff into the glass until it cracked and eventually shattered. He dove through and tossed his weapon on the floor. He wanted nothing in his hands when he touched her. Scooping Hermosa up, he raced through the dusty tunnels. He knew every portal, every inch of this facility, so he took her to a hidden alcove he had discovered as a child.
The Aavvee would not find them.
Xefe held her tight, her scent washing over him, making him throb. Reluctantly, he set her down in the abandoned supply closet. Shelving and old equipment surrounded them. There was room to sit in the corner. “What have you done to me? Explain this!”
“E-explain?” Her wide eyes looked enormous. “You should be explaining all of this tome. How the hell should I know where he came from?”
“He?Who?” His body felt wrong, out of his control, so warm he might melt in front of her. Xefe wanted to take action but didn’t knowwhat to do. “You speak of another?”
“I’m speaking abouthim.” Hermosa pointed below his waist. “Look!”
Xefe glanced down and staggered against the wall, sliding down until he hit the ground. His rod had come alive. It spun and preened for…Hermosa. “This can’t be possible.” He looked at her, for once in his life, ready to beg. “This…this… I do not understand.”Make me understand. “He is not meant for you.”
“Ouch.” She winced and squeezed her eyes shut. “Okay, it’s okay. Just give me a second to think. Because Ireallywant us to figure this out.” She took a few deep breaths and peeked down at his massive rod. “So cute.”
“Cute?”My rod?Unacceptable.
“I-I couldn’t help it. Cute was the wrong word. Let’s try and figure this out together.” Hermosa sat in front of Xefe, her scent addictive. She stroked his arm, and electric shocks arrowed down to his groin. Pleasure, such pleasure, connected to this moment. His rod had never appeared, never shown itself.
“I think I understand a little bit about what’s going on. But you’re going to have to fill in the gaps.” Hermosa took a deep breath. “Dear God, you smell amazing.” Her soft hands pressed against his thighs. “Focus, Hera,” she whispered.
“Do something!” Xefe spread his legs so she could come closer. “This is not normal. I have never felt so…so…”
“Out of control?” Hermosa kneeled before him. “It’s okay, I can help you. I’m coming closer.” She shuffled forward on her knees and sat before him, between his legs.
“I need… I needmore.” Xefe growled, frustration welling.
“You’re going to have to let me in, which isn’t easy. Trust me, I know.” She rubbed her hands against his thighs, and the thick muscles jumped. “Your little guy has shown up, and he wants some attention, but that means you and I are going to have to touch. To be close. Can you do that?” She eyed the twin spikes protecting his rod.
He relaxed them, directing them to fuse around his waist. He wouldn’t admit it to the earther, but he needed this, wanted it more than anything on this planet. With her. No one else. “Yes. I swear this! You are safe with me. Now,do something.” His head fell back. “Make it better.”
