“I will treasure it forever, but you didn’t have to give me all this.” She swept her hand over the boxes.
“I thought I might need to bribe you into talking to me.” He gave her a rueful smile.
“Seriously?” She cupped his cheek with a grin. “You’re the prince. All you had to do was command me.”
“I felt that wasn’t the best approach to take in this situation,” he said, before his lips curled into a wicked smile. “However, in the future, I will remind you that you suggested it.”
She snorted. “We’ll see how that goes.”
“I will only do it in the bedroom.” His voice was low and raspy.
A shiver of desire ran through her as she imagined him in his power suit, ordering her to strip off her clothes while he sat, watching. “That works for me.”
“There is an invitation I need to deliver to you,” he said, running his hand over her bare shoulder and down her arm so her skin tingled with pleasure.
She half closed her eyes to savor the feeling. “What?”
“My father wants me to bring you to dinner at the palace so he can get to know you better.” A grin curled his lips. “Every Sunday, we have family night, so the whole gang will be there.”
A throat-closing combination of joy and terror tore through her. She had met most of the royal family already, but in the role of Gabriel’s pilot or Raul’s guide. Now they would be viewing her as Raul’s girlfriend. That made Raul’s love real in a wonderful way. But they would also be judging her, and she wasn’t at all sure what their verdict would be.

Raul burst out laughing before he kissed her. “I’ll tell Pater that was your response to his gracious—and much-coveted—invitation.”
“That seems counterproductive since you want him to like me,” she said, cuddling into his deliciously bare chest.
“Oh, he will like you.” His arms tightened around her. “He won’t be able to help himself.”
“You may be biased.” She tilted her head to smile up at him.
“He knows that I have excellent taste.” He lowered his mouth to hers for a searingly hot kiss. “Te adoro, mi corazón. And I intend to show you just how much—once I get the sunscreen.”
“Maybe you could get it later.” She trailed her fingers down the length of his tattoo as the ache between her legs grew.
“Oh, no. I don’t want your beautiful skin to hurt too much for me to touch it over and over again.” He kissed her shoulder and stood, heading for the cabin while she admired the flexingmuscles of his butt as he walked.
