We had driven recklessly through the city, only to end up at a place that cared for animals?
What in the actual fuck?
I was mixed up, it wasn’t even funny. One moment, I lived on the wild side without a goddamn care in the world, and the next, I was ready to make a run to save my life from two extremely powerful men.
But now?
I wanted to scream at Sin and Saint, punching my fists into their much too brawny chests until they had to gain control of me, forcing me to calm down, and we’d go at each other all over again. Instead, I rushed out of the car, slammed the door, marched up to those wicked men with their insanely goofy grins and whacked them both upside the head.
Sin and Saint didn’t even flinch. They didn’t show one wince of pain and blinked at me with confusion.Fuck! Shit! Fuck!
“Why the hell are we here?” I pointed at the animal rescue sign. “Is this your idea of a first date?”
“Ouch. You pain my heart, Liv.” Sin made a pouty face.
“I think we’re far past a simple date night, don’t ya think?” Saint questioned.
God! These men were insufferable!
I spun on my heels. “I’m outta here.” Angrily, I threw my hands up in the air.
Immediately, each man grabbed my wrists and pulled me back toward them. Their grip trapped me, leaving me no choice but to listen. My body jerked as I tried to fight their holds, twisting and thrashing.
“Knock off your shit, little obsession.” Sin gripped my throat. “Give up the damn attitude for five goddamn seconds.”
“We are only trying to help you,” Saint added.
The death grip around my neck was tight and cut off my air supply. Panicked, I pushed against his hold. But Sin wouldn’t let go because he wanted full control. The memory of his past nature made me give up the battle, and I knew I’d only deal with consequences. With Sin Cruz, there was always a punishment.
“Fucker!” I choked out when Sin released me out of his strong hold. “Goddamn! I hate it when you pull that shit.”
“Nah. I think you fucking love it.” Sin smirked down at me.
“Oh, fuck off!” My hand lashed out at Sin’s face.
Sin caught my hand before I slapped him.
“Nuh-uh. Easy, sweetheart. I was only playing.” Sin bent my wrist backward until it hurt. “Are you done fighting us now?”
Saint sniffed my hair. “You know how much your disobedience turns us on.”
“Fine. Goddamn it!” I took a deep breath and let it out. “I’ll stop.”
“Are you sure?” Sin raised an eyebrow at me.
“Yes,” I whispered.
“Tell us how sorry you are,” Saint whispered in my ear.
I glaredat him. “What?”
Sin and Saint pushed me backward until my backside hit their car.
Sin hissed, “You heard the man, little obsession, tell your Daddies how sorry you are for misbehaving when all we want to do is help you.”
The fight between us was back on in full force. A fiery pit burned deep in my belly, heat coiled there during the intense battle. The arousal threatened to peak and spill over the edge. I wasn’t sure if I could contain the wanton woman inside of me. She wanted out, and she needed to be with her beasts, but I wasn’t sure I was ready to give into them. Not yet.
“I don’t need your damn help,” I seethed, nostrils flaring.
